Author has written 3 stories for Labyrinth.

"Mightier than Estë is Nienna, sister of the Fëanturi; she dwells alone. She is acquainted with grief, and mourns for every wound that Arda has suffered in the marring of Melkor. So great was her sorrow, as the Music unfolded, that her song turned to lamentation long before its end, and the sound of mourning was woven into the themes of the World before it began. But she does not weep for herself; and those who hearken to her learn pity, and endurance in hope. Her halls are west of West, upon the borders of the world; and she comes seldom to the city of Valimar where all is glad. She goes rather to the halls of Mandos, which are near to her own; and all those who wait in Mandos cry to her, for she brings strength to the spirit and turns sorrow to wisdom. The windows of her house look outward from the walls of the world."

"Wisest of the Maiar was Olórin. He too dwelt in Lórien, but his ways took him often to the house of Nienna, and of her he learned pity and patience...In later days he was the friend of all the Children of Illúvatar, and he took pity on their sorrows; and those who listened to him awoke from despair and put away the imaginations of darkness."

J. R. R. Tolkien, The Silmarillion

Gender: I'm a woman, and yet, a little girl

Age: Externally, I'm somewhere between 20 and 30. Internally, I'm much, much older.

Description: My eyes change color, depending on what I'm wearing but lie somewhere in the sea of color between blue and green. They're my favorite feature in the human face because they are the windows to the soul. Apparently, I "look Irish," which befits my Celtic ancestry. I'm sophisticated, but down to earth, intellectual and artistic, creative and realistic, small but strong. I am a series of contradictions. Speaking of which, I'm currently a PhD student in Hebrew but I love to write fanfiction in my free time.

Characters I'm currently shipping (which may mean a fanfic might come up sooner or later):

-Jareth/Sarah from Labyrinth

-The Doctor/Rose Tyler from Doctor Who

-The Doctor/OC from my brain from Doctor Who

Point of clarification. By "The Doctor," I mean the 10th Doctor who, in my opinion is the Doctor and none can top him.

About my current stories:

Trapped In A Nightmare:(COMPLETE!) This is my first Labyrinth fanfic, a sequel to the movie. My influences include: Greek mythology (specifically, the titanomachy and the labyrinth), the movie itself, and a smattering of classic novels I've read over the years. Read the summary below for a more detailed plot.

It's Only Forever, Or, The Labors of Sarah Williams, Goblin Queen: (COMPLETE!) This is a sequel to my sequel, so it is twice removed from the original movie. My influences include: Greek mythology (specifically, the labors of Hercules, Cupid & Psyche, and Orpheus), a fairy tale I read as a girl entitled "The Enchanted Pig" (and a few others like it), etc. The movie has only a limited basis here, since it is largely developed from the previous story, but I always try to remain closely to the original vision of the land, creatures and especially the characters as Jim Henson created them.

For those who may be disappointed that I have finished my second story, I do have plans for more stories for Labyrinth (and others, Lord willing). Right now, I have a lot on my plate, so I am taking a few months' hiatus, but will hopefully be back for summertime with a new story. I already have a plan for what's coming next, but it will probably be darker/more serious than the ones I've written so far.

Blessings!

UPDATE:

Born of Magic: Labyrinth King is up and running! This is part one of a four part series entitled "Born of Magic." Just a warning, these stories are much darker than the previous two and at least one of the latter parts will contain some disturbing content. This is a different Jareth from my other stories. The POV is different (Labyrinth King is 1st person, from Jareth's perspective) and the atmosphere less whimsical, so don't say I didn't warn you. I would love to say I'll get it done by Thanksgiving, but now that I've started my PhD program, I have far less time than I would like to write fanfiction. I'll post when I can. Here's hoping I survive grad school so that I can finish my stories!
