![]() Author has written 5 stories for Twilight. About Me: Hey! I'm Louise. I overuse punctuation in everyday life!!! (see?? :P ) So, when I wrote Split Second, I thought I'd done pretty well with it. But I have have learned so much more since that. Pereche (and its upcoming companions) has become my baby. I've never been prouder of anything. And just so you know -- if you start reading it, don't give up on it early on. In my opinion, it gets better and better as it goes (I didn't get a beta until chapter five). Pereche has become my obsession, and reignited my love of writing. Twitter: If you're interested, I've started a twitter account for fanfic. -- (at)ggf83 . Come say hi! I'd really love to hear from you. :) Fic Updates: There are two companion fics to My Pereche -- My Faith in Fate, and My Morality -- the latter of which really is still in progress; I'm just ridiculously slow and... life. Final note: Be nice to people! I understand that those who grew up with the internet always being there use anonymous snark and vitriol as currency. But it doesn't have to be that way! We can be better than this! When I get reviews which are just b*tching without being constructive, I can shake it off (although, if you don't like a fic, stop reading! Don't send a complaining review for every chapter!), but there are some innocents out there who can't. Don't try to knock people down who have worked hard on something when you've done nothing. In the words of the great Aaron Sorkin, "we're living in a time when we're not that nice to each other. It's one thing to point at the powerful and give them a little kick in the butt. But we do that now with each other; with ordinary people. Snark is too much of a currency and it's way too easy; it's the idiot's version of wit. We're constantly trying to draw attention to ourselves with tweets, and I think we want to think of ourselves as better than that. And we are. And [..] you can act like a knight even if you don't have a horse. We can all be better than we are. I would just love to see a renaissance of decency." |
