no, i didn't come back for my old love for zim-fics. i came back to put up one poem. just one, that's all. please read and; it's no real waste of time...at least i hope it's not.

It stared out so normal
That sunny tuesday morning
Everything was strangely peaceful
The classes hot and boring

Little did I know
How much my life would change
The fact that she didn't show up
Was the only thing quite strange

Nothing new in biology
Math was a usual snore
I doodled away in art class
And choir was always a bore

At last I came to p.e.
The class that's unpredictable
Without her with me that year
It would have been unlivable

Her backpack wasn't at her locker
She was nowhere within sight
But i put on my swimsuit without worry
I wasn't about to become uptight

I was called in and out of the water
I obeyed and wondered why
A familiar girl had come for me
She looked about ready to cry

She told me to change back
And from the class i had been excused
I was to meet her somewhere else
Where she would tell me of the news

I made my way there trembling
To that brown counseling room
Horrible things came to mind
Was a life about to end soon?

But it was actually much worse
Then what I thought it all to be
I couldn't believe what i was told
It made me feel so empty

All it took was these five words
"I'm sorry. she passed away."
I then collapsed into a chair
And cried the rest of the day

It's been a while now
But the scars still feel new
One moment I laugh and the next I sob
I remain emotionally confused

For that empty space still lingers
Inside my heart and head
I'll never forget that awful day
When they told me she was dead
