Rainbow Veins

They do not speak, they sing.
The softest murmur of a lullaby,

A delicate decoration of the tender night air,
A song so sweet the moon itself swoons at the sound.

Such a mysterious and entrancing melody,
Unlike any other composition of this world.
To hear their song is to understand beauty
Like a capricious dream they entice you,

And when the moon hovers above casting gentle shadows,
Should your soul feel the thrall of their voices,

A world so miraculous its eternity transcends time,
Will unfold before you.
These creatures with rainbow teemed veins,

Will encompass your heart with all the colours of their world.

So easy it is,
To live in a dream created and maintained for you by others power.

Have Strength,
Have Hope,
Have faith enough to colour your own heart and fight for your own dreams.

For if you fall under their enchantment,
Your soul you will lose,
So think carefully dear victim, before you choose.
You have but one chance to decide,
Fight valiantly against a greyscale reality to saturate your heart in colour,
Or-
Succumb to the thin veil of fantasy.
This world of wonder they create for you,
Is made up of nothing but the mists of deception.
You see,
Nothing is what it seems…
Especially beautiful dreams…
