Hi everyone!

I'm Kim, I'm from the brilliantly rainy isles of England, and I love reading stories from my favourite TV shows, particularly Merlin and Supernatural.

Now, depending on how you look at it, I love descriptions in the stories that I read - if the backdrop of your setting can tell the story better than verbal communication between your characters, then I think that's a much more effective way at progressing the story.

My strong points in writing are my descriptions and the way that I conjure up images. I would also say that I can use different words to mean the same thing, so that I don't get bored writing the same word over and over and over again. Grammar and general SPaG are also things that I pride myself in due to my job as a teacher. The last strong point that I think I have comes from being able to take criticism and adjusting myself and my work to improve on what has been mentioned. My weak points in writing are my descriptions - as much as they are my strong point, I'm also weak here as I tend to over-write the descriptions, so that the verbal conversations can appear swamped by my need to describe. Another of my weak points is that I tend to get my American and English words mixed up in terms of the 's' and 'z' thing - so I may start writing the English way of using the 's', but half way through my writing, I'll switch to the American way and use 'z'.

I've currently written the Forever Yours series, based on the great series that is Merlin. I've also got some more Merlin stories in the pipeline, so watch this space! After being away from writing for a few years, I'm now getting back into it again so that I can enjoy writing and you can enjoy reading :) .
