![]() Author has written 8 stories for Lethal Weapon, Sherlock Holmes, Expendables, NCIS, Defiance, 2008, Doctor Who, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Terra Nova. Hello there. It seems you've stumbled across my profile, which is, I'll admit, skimpy, if you will. *laughs* Skimpy, yes, skimpy. Perhaps desolate is a better word. Steadily, I will add to this account, until I accumulate as much as I can - until my creative juices for fanfictions run dry and I find nothing I can write about/for. About me. I like reading, writing, playing the piano - sometimes - editing clips in Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 to make videos for Youtube, and ballroom dancing. Yes, I ballroom dance. June 25th of 2012 was my four-year anniversary at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio I attend. I am in Silver 1, the next big level in ballroom dancing, and I have only had 230 or so lessons. I really enjoy dancing as much I enjoy writing, and I hope to be able to dance for as long as possible. (If money matters allow, of course!) I've been playing the piano for ten years now, and though it has sometimes been a drag, I enjoy being able to play the instrument. I suppose it's one of the things that has helped me become so well rounded. I am a straight-A student. I settle for nothing less. I barely accept an A-, let alone anything that falls underneath that threshold. I am participating in the International Baccalaureatte (IB) program at my school. That means I'm taking the equivalent of college classes my last two years of school, and most colleges will accept IB Diploma graduates above all others. They'll even so much as waive the first two years of college, placing me as a junior in college at the age of eighteen. I look forward to all the opportunities such a rigorous program can provide...and though I don't necessarily embrace all challenges with the gusto that I sometimes have, I certainly try my best to plow through the challenges that I am faced with. As my father says, "Be like a river. Find a way around every obstacle you run into." Ah, now for my favorites. My favorite author is Dean Koontz. If you haven't read anything by him, I suggest you get up right now, go to the library or the book store, and find one of his novels. They are sure to entertain you. (I have to recommendations if you go out looking for his books. Pick up a copy of Intensity and Odd Thomas. I'm sure both will fascinate you as much as they fascinate me, especially the first one I suggested. The sociopath in that novel is brilliantly crafted. He's one of those characters that, though they're a bad guy and everything, you can't seem to not like them. Yes, I'm weird.) My favorite novel...well, that's a hard decision. I love most of the books I read, and I can't necessarily settle on any single one. Most novels by Dean Koontz are the ones I enjoy the most, and perhaps my favorites are more liable to come from that selection. My favorite music...that depends. I listen to a lot of instrumental music, such as anything by E.S. Posthumus, X-Ray Dog, Epic Score, and Two Steps from Hell. I really like soundtracks as well - movie soundtracks that is. Which reminds me! I LOVE, LOVE WITH A PASSION, movies. Movies are like day and night for me. I'll watch practically anything except slasher-horror movies. Those I can't tolerate. The closest I get to stuff like that is, perhaps, Mirrors, The Sixth Sense, and Ghost Rider. *laughs* As for my favorite movie, it really all comes down to what kind of mood I'm in. A few of my favorites - I guess I'll list them - are The Expendables, Sherlock Holmes, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, K-Pax, What Women Want, The Usual Suspects, Lethal Weapon, Forrest Gump, Bandits, Unbreakable, and so, so, so many others. It's so hard to decide! Back to music. I'll list some of the bands I listen to, since that's what most people do. I listen to Florence the Machine, Staind, Three Days Grace, Five for Fighting, and, my favorite, Poets of the Fall. But let's not forget The Piano Guys! They're amazing! As for individual musicians, Harry Connick, Jr. is at the top of my list, followed by Robert Downey, Jr., Sarah McLachlan, and Imogen Heap. Since we're talking about people, I might as well list my favorite actors as well. They are in no particular order, just the first ones that come to mind when I think about actors I enjoy watching. However, before I list them, I have finally decide that Bruce Willis is my all-time favorite actor. Hail Bruce Willis!!!!!!! Anyway, here are the list of other actors I enjoy: Karl Urban - (my God, he's SEXY!!!!! Why haven't we seen more sexy New Zelanders!?!?!?) - Mark Sheppard, Misha Collins, Mark Pellegrino, Jensen Ackles, Sebastian Roché, Nicholas Cage, Mel Gibson, John Travolta, David Tennant (Scottish, squee!), Mark Harmon, Robert Downey, Jr., Gerard Butler (Scottish, squee!), Ewan McGregor, Tom Hanks, John Cusack, Dennis Quaid - my father trained a dog for his brother, Randy Quaid!!!! - and, as before, so many others. It's a huge list. If I were to name all the actors I don't care much for, well, then, we'll have a shorter list, with Robert Pattison and Taylor Lautner at the top, followed by Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, and Johnny Depp. (Now, before anyone kills me, I only like Johnny Depp in some roles, otherwise I don't pay much attention to him. He was excellent in Finding Neverland and Donnie Brasco. Same goes for DiCaprio. His performance in Catch Me If You Can was absolutely riveting.) TV shows. I don't watch much TV, aside from any movies that are playing on the television, so I don't watch that many TV shows. However, I have a few favorites that I watch diligently. Until it was cancelled, I watched Ghost Whisperer. However, I slacked off on that a little when Jay Mohr, playing the wonderful Professor Payne - God, I loved that guy...I wish I could meet somebody like that, a professor even! - left the show to pick up Gary Unmarried, a sitcom that I also happen to watch. (I couldn't pass up watching Jay Mohr in another show, being that he is so hilarious.) I also watch NCIS and NCIS: LA with a passion. Gibbs is my favorite character, with McGee coming in a close second and Abby following not too far behind. (I was devasted when Jenny died, by the way. I didn't like Kate very much, but, then again, when I first started watching, the episodes had Ziva in them, not Kate, so I grew to like Ziva better.) As for NCIS: LA, I can't really decide who I like best. Deeks is hilarious, his relationship with Kensi is fantastic, the dynamic between Callen and Sam is just brilliant, and the little relationship between Eric and Nell is adorable! Recently, I have taken to watching Doctor Who. I prefer David Tennant's version - the Tenth Doctor - over all others, including Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor, but Christopher Eccleston's Ninth Doctor holds a dear place in my heart. I watch the occasional Moonlighting episode - gotta love Bruce Willis! - and I'm started to get interested in the old drama The Man from UNCLE. Jeeves and Wooster, the British television series, captured my heart. I swear, that comedy duo is fantastic. What I would give to have a Jeeves! (Or a Joe from the movie Princess Diaries, for that matter...or, even better! Niles from The Nanny! That's who I need!!!) I am also in love with three new TV shows that came out in 2011: Falling Skies - absolutely LOVE Noah Wyle - Terra Nova - Commander Taylor, Lucas Taylor, and Tom Boylan are my favorites - and Person of Interest - if you haven't seen it, you MUST. Do it - NOW. It's that awesome! And Perception came out in the summer of 2012 - it's so adorable! I also watch Castle and, now competing for first place, Supernatural. Gotta love all those gorgeous men - and all the amazing supernatural things going on in those episodes! (Gotta love those Angels, too.) I think that's enough for now. You want to get to the stories, not listen to all this useless information about me! Please be considerate and provide good reviews that not only praise my work - ha! If I get any! - but also help to improve my writing ability/skills. Thank you!
