About me: I am a wife and mother of 5. I manage on office at a middle Tennessee university. I used to write and draw a lot when I was in school. One of my "books" actually became very popular among my fellow students and one of my pieces of art made it to an art show. One of my life long dreams was to become an author or pursue a career in graphic design. After I got married and had children, I put that part of my life in a box because I had no time to myself. Now that my children are older, I have found myself back in the creative mindset. I have begun to write again and I am currently working on my first book...well actually my first two books (not including the fanfic).

My writing and inspiration: It was actually the Twilight stories that got me to write again. No, my stories on fictionpress.com don't involve vampires even though I have always loved vampire stories growing up. Witches and Ivy is about the supernatural. The idea for this story actually came to me while I was reading one of the Twilight books. This story is personal for me because it is based on some true stories in my life. One of my close friends always said, "We should write a book but we would have to sell it as fiction because nobody would believe it was true." Witches and Ivy is more of a Young Adult/Teen genre while There's Life After Jack is more of an adult Romance that will have more mature themes. There's Life After Jack came to me while I was writing Witches and Ivy. The idea for the romance came to me while I was in San Diego and working on Witches and Ivy. There's Life After Jack gave me relief and I know that I am going to have a lot of fun writing it.
