![]() Author has written 3 stories for Pride and Prejudice. It's been two years since I've updated this profile. Wow. I'll eventually put something here... Closer: I wanted to explore Lizzie as an imperfect character because I personally think too many authors make her flawless, and I don't like that. An imperfect Lizzie does mean that she'll be unlikable at times, but rest assured she means well. I also wanted subplots, because life isn't always about falling in love. There's usually a bunch of other stuff going on too. How did I come up with ballet? I don't really know. I'm not a ballet dancer, and I don't pretend to be an expert on ballet. I'm just enjoy watching it. I thought to myself, "What if she was a ballet dancer that couldn't dance?" and then worked from there. I came up with the plot while listening to The Fray's self titled album, which I highly recommend. All chapter titles are song lyrics, though not all from The Fray's album. You can find the songs on the "soundtrack" art that I made (back). The Space Between: I wrote a lot for Closer that I didn't actually use because of various reasons, but I know a lot of people wanted fluff for the characters in Closer, so I'm sharing with you pretty much all of the parts that weren't included in the actual story. They're out of order because some have absolutely no order in the story (either because I took out the subplot, changed something, or wrote something else instead). Just my thank you present for all of you who have read, reviewed, favorited, and/or put Closer on your alerts. When It Rains: My latest project (which will also be a modern P&P). I wrote it for NaNoWriMo. I met the word count goal, but I'm still not finished with it. I'm posting the chapters as I edit them and writing as much as I can to finish it. Please remember that each chapter has to go through three different betas (I'm a perfectionist) and then I have to tweak them, so it won't just be me updating them every day or something. It'll most likely be once a week. The story explores loss, love, duty, and just growing up from a young William Darcy's point of view. It's very different from Closer, but I do hope you'll give it a chance. Please read. I'm really proud of this one. I hope you like it. My username has nothing to do with when I update. |
