Hello, everybody! I am Synesthete314. I am a college student majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Classical Civilization. I am a huge dork. I love to read, especially fantasy/scifi novels. Some favorite books: Harry Potter (of course), Ender’s Game (it's a great book, even though the author is a dick), Good Omens, Havemercy, and What They Always Tell Us. My favorite TV show (of many) is Battlestar Galactica. Don’t judge me, it’s quality television. Closely followed by Doctor Who.

I have been reading fanfiction since I was 11. I wrote my first story when I was twelve (it was never finished) on another HP fic site, which has since been taken off the web. It was horrible. I’ve only just started writing again, and I desperately hope that my stories are better this time around. Feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated!

My first and most frequented fandom (although not so much as of late) is Harry Potter, but I mostly lurk around Supernatural now. In general, I prefer slash pairings, but I have a growing love for het and gen (thanks to SPN fandom, ironically).

Over the years I have read in many other fandoms including, Fullmetal Alchemist, Young Wizards Series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Pendragon, Torchwood, Doctor Who, and Twilight. This list by no means covers the vast amounts of television and terribly written teenage novels that I have read, watched, and enjoyed. (I do read real literature too, I swear!)
