Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Twilight. Name: Summer Most Likely To Write About: Mortal Instruments, Harry Potter My Stance on Twilight: I loved the book back in 2005, when it was unpopular. I still adore the books; they're humorous and romantic. I know there's a lot of people out there who strongly dislike the series because they believe it's unrealistic. But, sometimes...isn't it nice to imagine? Why I'm on Team Jacob: Tell me, Team Edward, what is there in Bella's relationship with Edward? They are certainly attracted to each other physically, and Edward is attracted to her scent...other than that, what is there? So, alright, she thinks he's gorgeous, and he thinks she smells appetizing and happens to find that she's a danger magnet...but there's nothing there. Jacob, however, saved her from the unhealthy depression she went into after Edward left her. He put her back together, made her smile again...and she ditches him for the vampire. Do you see any logic in that? Dark Hour: Dark Hour is the story that I've been motivated to complete because of all the support from my readers. It would make me really pleased if you could review it. Reviews are ways of encouraging the author or giving them constructive criticism. I will reply to every review I receive. UPDATE: Twilight doesn't have the same appeal to me as it did before. I see that Stephenie Meyer has flawed writing (adverb abuser, descriptions of Edward every other sentence, major plot holes, unrealistic protagonist...) I just don't like it anymore. I look at what I wrote when I opened this account a year or two ago, and I see that I was a delusional little teen who just fell in love with Meyer's purple prose. I'm going to finish Dark Hour, of course, because it would be extremely rude of me to leave it incomplete. I'm done with Twilight fanfictions. The movies, however, are a different manner because they're just fun to make fun of. 11/20/09: Movie: New Moon Oh my god. I just watched New Moon...and I think it came out better than Twilight (the movie). Twilight was sucky and the leading roles were monotonous and apathetic. New Moon, however, is a whole different story. (This is coming from a person who absolutely loathed the first movie of the Twilight saga. I truly thought they sabotaged the books). Though when Bella was supposed to be depressed, she seemed happier than before. Dakota Fanning did pretty decently at doing creepy. Hm...the wolves were so knit and, well, kind of sexy. Kellan Lutz, unfortunately, only had approximately two lines. Victoria's hair was a gorgeous red--it made me want it. And, I save the best for last: I'm left with the adrenaline of the movie, thinking constantly about a shirtless Taylor Lautner. He is downright sexy and hot. His boxers show most of the time (I know, I know, I know...I was freaking out and squealing too) and he is just too good-looking for his own good. And I think that's what's the moral of the movie: It doesn't get any hotter than Lautner. How Many Times I Have Seen New Moon So Far: 3 02/22/10: Plagiarism I Hello, readers. It has come to my attention that my story has been ripped off--plagiarized. It's this story called New Dawn by Jacob Lupo that is identical to my story from Chapters 2 and on. Please support me and review the story, PM the author, contact the fanfiction support center through e-mail, and tell them that it is my story she has stolen. The email is reportabuse@ Give them the title and link to the false story (New Dawn), the author (Jacob Lupo ), and the story they copied (Dark Hour, which is mine). Jacob Lupo 's beta reader was Awsome author, who fully supported him in plagiarizing my story. As a matter of fact, he had sent me a PM a couple of minutes ago, telling me how he/she had been aware that I was "inspiration", therefore, Jacob Lupo could "copy and paste", and he claims that I shouldn't be telling Jacob Lupo to remove "all of her hard work". Um, excuse me, but that is MY story we're talking about. Inspiration does not equal copy and paste. I've also noticed how Jacob Lupo has removed me from their story alert, favorite stories, and favorite authors. Maybe she was trying to remove all connnections from me? Anyway, thanks to all who have supported me. 02/22/10: Plagiarism II Hello again. Jacob Lupo had taken down the first copy of my story, only to post it again under a different name. She retitled it Second Chance. Jacob Lupo was formally Jacob William, but changed her name because he was afraid he would lose fans because of the plagiarism issue. Fans of MY story, which he stole. Please look at Chapter 18 of "Dark Hour" to see how to help me. This is what I'm thinking: Seriously? Does she think I'm stupid enough to stop watching over her stories? She ripped off my most successful story. And then she takes it down after my PMs and fans' flames...and reposts it under a different title. Jacob Lupo, I'm not an idiot. NOTE: Jacob Lupo has taken down the second false story, and has posted a new story. She claims that it is her story, so we'll just have to keep an eye on it. (if he lied once, he'll lie again. Remember--she lied when he told he had taken down the story and would start from scratch. She just reposted it and changed the chapter titles, with my work as the chapters.). For some reason, FanFiction will not deactivate her aount. KEEP A WARY EYE OVER: Jacob Lupo , the author who has plagiarized my work twice. Not to mention how she keeps cranking out story after story (I've been told that they were ripped off of unsuspected authors). Also, keep an eye on Awsome author, the supporter of his plagiarism. 06/30/10: Movie: Eclipse I just saw Eclipse today, knowing that I'd get motivated to update Dark Hour, which I did. I'm so glad that I updated (I'd been feeling hideously guilty). Okay, so I didn't like this one all that much. My favorite scene was the one where the Cullens are training for the battle against the newborns. The rest of the movie had Kristen Stewart's bad acting and other minor aspects. And she is SO lucky. My god. She got to make out with Taylor Lautner. And I loved the shirtless Taylor Lautner scenes (of course) and any scene that had him in it). He is so freaking hot. I didn't like the movie overall because they didn't portray Edward as the overprotective, not-letting-Bella-see-Jacob idiot he was in the novel. In the movie, he's portrayed as, "Oh, go ahead and jump on the back of his motorcycle, Bella. I'll be fine.", whereas in the book it's, "Oh, Bella, I'm taking the engine out of your car so you cannot drive out to see Jacob. I also have Alice locking you up so you can't see Jacob. And if you think of Jacob, I'll make sure to make you feel guilty. Ha ha. Evil me." |
