Author has written 16 stories for One Tree Hill, Bones, Grey's Anatomy, and Rizzoli & Isles. I'm relatively new to this fanfiction thing but its become my latest addiction. I don't know if you can fairly call me an 'aspiring writer' just yet but I've always enjoyed the process and feel a pretty constant yen to put thoughts onto paper (or computer screen, as the case may be). I work in a fairly writing intensive field (I'm an attorney) but there's zero room for embellishment and only so much room for imagination. Therefore, this kind of writing is a fantastic outlet for me, and one I intend to pursue. I've found the most enjoyable part about fanfiction is that you start with a story and a fanbase already in place and so get to spend the majority of your time developing the characters and focusing on individual quotes and scenes, as opposed to introducing new ideas. I enjoy drafting dialogue the most so if my stories turn out to be a little conversation heavy, I apologize. The second best part about fanfiction are the reviews--its great to be able to submit your work and find out if its any good or not, without having to rely on family and friends. So don't feel any pressure to be nice!! As I said, fanfiction is becoming one of my latest addictions but I've never been lacking in that area. Clearly One Tree Hill, and in particular Lucas and Peyton, fit in that category and I'm sure there will be several stories involving that show but there are a few other categories I want to explore: West Wing |
