Author has written 8 stories for House, M.D., and Bones. Well, let's start at the start; I'm Lily, I'm 17, and I'm English. I love Bones, Harry Potter, Gossip Girl and Pushing Daisies. Twilight is my guilty pleasure... Unlike most keen Bones fans, I don't live in America, and I've only seen Seasons 1-3, plus the first 3 episodes of the 4th season which are included on the Season 3 dvd boxset. I don't have Sky, so Season 4 is off-limits until it comes out on dvd. From what I heard, Season 3 didn't have anything on Seasons 1-2, so perhaps my excitement was a little premature. Or perhaps not; Bones has obviously changed a lot since the awkward yet often hysterically funny show that it started out as, but it seems to me like a kind of natural progression. I mean, it's not as if there have been any huge, sudden character changes. Except for maybe our favourite little squinty friend that's now eating mush with a plastic spoon in a mental institution, but I've heard stuff about Season 4 that makes me doubt that he should even be in there; I shall soon see. I love Bones/Booth, but I firmly believe that the producers will keep us wishing for as long as possible before they finally give in to the public and have the two of them jump each other. Which sucks, obviously. I love the current relationship between them, but I don't think it's actually possible to watch Bones without wanting Bones and Booth to get together... I loved the extended kiss in Santa In The Slush, and there's rumours flying that they kiss for real, of their own volition, later in Season 4, so I'm definitely looking forward to that. Then was that thing that Hart Hanson said about them being in bed together, naked, in the next episode, so I'm seriously gonna have to hijack someone's Sky box, but knowing how cryptic those guys can be, they probably won't be sleeping together anyway. I mean, if they were sleeping together, he would have said so instead of saying what he did, which implies that some random situation will come up which involves some entirely platonic naked snuggling. God knows how, but... I'm not usually a big fan of crime dramas, but Bones really got me hooked from the first episode. It all started with someone recommending Kathy Reichs' books to me, which I hated. The same person then recommended the TV series, which I regarded with suspicion. However, with the usual lack of decent weeknight TV, I eventually resorted to popping in the much hated DVD - and loved it. It was during a holiday, so I stayed up all night watching the entire first season, then all the next day rewatching every episode. Two days later, I repeated the whole affair with Season 2, and so it became official - I was a Bones fan. Now, comparitively, all other crime dramas seem dull, boring and impersonal. Also, am I the only person (or girl, at least - I think we all know what the boys watch if for) on the planet that watches Gossip Girl for the characters and plot, not the clothes? I mean, sure, they're great, but... meh. It's like watching Bones for the gore, which is just pointless. Personally, I very much enjoy the music from both shows too. So, me; I'm brunette, I have brown eyes, and I'm a little short for my age. In short, Hitler would've hated me. My favourite colour is yellow. I have been described as nervous and socially awkward, but that's only with people I don't know. I adore H&M and Accessorize. I love long socks and chocolate. I occasionally watch House for the drama of it all, and to laugh at Hugh Laurie, because he's funny. Duh. Actually, I've made a habit of staying in on Monday nights to get my fix of Season 3, which is currently the latest that's airing in the UK on Freeview, but that's ended, so I'm thinking about pursuing the dvd boxsets... |
