Author has written 1 story for Naruto. Welcome to my profile page! In a small break between writing Shy, not Weak I decided to update this page. I do need a beta for Shy, not Weak so if anyone is intreseted please PM me. Any help will be great, thanks! Now a little information about why I wrote Shy, not Weak: In a lot of stories, Hinata is depicted as weak. Or super strong. And truthfully I hate that. I don't see her as weak but neither is she super strong. Then they are authors who change Hinata's basic character, and that I can't stand. Hinata is not a evil or cold person. She is gentle and kind and too nice. Basically everything that is against what a ninja is. But because of her birth, she is destined to become a ninja and the leader of the most prestigious clan in Konoha. Truthfully, I can't see Hinata as a leader. Sure, she has the kindness and the caring of a true leader, but can she truly be what the Hyuga clan needs as a leader? I don't think so. At least in canon, she doesn't have the qualities needed. That is part of the reason why I sent her away to be Conditioned. If she is thrust away from the safety of her home, she has to learn to adapt. And she will learn how to be a true ninja. Either that, or break. And I, for one, hate her many stuttering or how she faints when Naruto gets close to her. I know some super shy people, and they don't faint when the person they admire is close to them. Sure I can understand her blushing and some stuttering and shyness. But the others are over-exaggeration. Ninjas are weapons. True, I admire Naruto for saying he would follow his way of a ninja, but I don't think that is how it is at all. Ninjas are the weapons of their Kage and their Damiyo. In the Naruto universe, you only see the good guys basically Konoha and Suna ninjas fight against bad guys or ninjas. But I do not think that is how ninjas work at all. Haku was right when he called Ninjas weapons in the Wave Arc. Ninjas will have to kill people and not all the time will they fight against bad guys or other ninjas. Sometimes they will have to kill innocent people, or people who just viewed things from a different side from them. Because that is what they have to do. In the real world today, a lot of people killed because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time or because they were different. I don't think it is so much different from how the Naruto verse is. For example: A Damiyo recieves a warning from one of his subordinate that another Damiyo is contemplating going to war against their country. So as a warning to that Damiyo, the first Damiyo sends a ninja to kill an entire village. It serves two purpose: One the first Damiyo displays it prowess so that the second Damiyo will think twice before it actually attacks and Two it is much more efficient and less money-consuming to send a ninja then to have to send a whole troop of samurai. Everyone can basically agree that that reason is sound, after all countries do that all the time. But what about the villagers who were killed to serve as a warning? True, by them dying, it would prevent other more people from dying, but they don't see it that way do they? And what about the ninja who was sent to kill those villagers? They were innocent. It is much easier to kill someone you think is guilty and evil, then to kill innocent people that had only done small wrongs. But the problem is that they had to die. Diplomacy only works far so long, a show of brute power works longer. So who does that killing? None of the people that we see in Naruto do that, except perhaps the ANBU. We know Gaara might have been one. But who does that killing in Konoha? And that is a path I'm exploring. Uh, yeah, I don't know if anyone understands what I just wrote above, but if anyone has arguments to what I said or suggestions on how to further the plot lines, weaknesses in what was said, please PM me or review. I'll be happy to argue my point or to listen to your suggestions on why what I think is wrong. I'm always looking at ways to improve my story. :D Other stories I'm semi-working on: 1. Undecided Title: It's an AU Bleach story. Basically Rukia and Ichigo switches role. Rukia is the human who has rietsu, and Ichigo is the shinigami. However, the basic things are the same: Ichigo is still strong, and has a lot of rietsu. He still is a Vizard. Rukia is still captured to bring to Soul Society. However there will be differences, although I can't explain them without ruining the story. I have 2-3 chapters typed out and a whole lot of ideas running around in my head. But I'm not planning to post it until I have more of Shy, not Weak done. It's definitely a IchiRukia. Although, I don't know if the pairing will have a big role in this story or not. 2. Undecided Title: A story set in the Protector of the Small series by Tamora Pierce. I wanted to explore the possibility of what Kel could have been if she was trained by spies earlier in her life. And if she had MPD. Because, as someone had pointed out, it is unhealthy to not show emotions. What if her fears of height and her way of not showing emotions, created another personality? One that was the perfect spy for the Tortall and Yamani Governments? What if she doesn't know about this personality but thinks it herself. Also, it explores why Joren hates female knights so much. For some reason I always associate Joren with Draco from Harry Potter and his hate of Muggle-born wizards and witches. Why Nealan is the way he is. I am fleshing out Dom's character, because although I love Tamora Pierce's characters, I do not think she gives a lot of information about him, and he seems like the perfect guy. Don't get me wrong, I love perfect guys, but the truth is there is no perfect guys out there to my eternal disappointment xP. So yes I'm making him more human. Favorite Pairings: In Naruto: My OTP is NaruHina. Although I do like the crack pairings of SasuHina and GaaHina. : It's not possible, but it's cute. Not to mention they are almost completely opposite of each other. In Bleach: IchiRuki. In PotS: KelDom or KelNeal or KelJor. Yes, almost basically any Kel/? except KelCleon. I didn't like him when he and Kel first got together and I definitely don't like him now that he's engaged to someone else. |
