I am a young man who is addicted to literature. I also enjoy movies, live theatre, musicals and opera. During December my life revolves around hunting, so don't expect a lot of story updates during that glorious month. I also enjoy history, especially medieval and Renaissance history. I am opinionated, and frequently blunt, (don't ask me a question you don't want the answer to). I try not to preach too much in my stories, but a small amount of my personal convictions do seep in occasionally.

My passions genre wise are Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Westerns.

Unfortunately we seem to currently be in a drought as far as good western writing goes so I have recently focused most of my reading on Fantasy and Science fiction. Which led me to the world of fan fiction.

I am a fan of multiple series of books, but my main fan fiction obsession is Harry Potter. This is because I have read multiple Harry fanfics that were far and away more enjoyable then the actual published volumes. I prefer to read long stories, and as such I also prefer to write long stories. I have written a number of novel length original stories for my own enjoyment, and have recently decided to throw up a fanfic or two. The stories I will post are at this time AU, but were conceived and plotted prior to the publication of the year that they represent.

For anyone reading my story Harry Potter and the Path to Power, the first few chapters start out a little slow, but don't fear, there is quite a bit of action and adventure on the way. The summer chapters are for preparation and fluff, things will heat up quite a bit when Harry Heads back to Hogwarts
