Raven was raised in Spencerville, Indiana. She was an awkward child with an overactive imagination. Raven hated school, it bored her.

It was during middle school that she picked up a pen and began to transcribe all her emotions into stories. That pen and notebook became her new friends.

After she graduated from college she would become published through another independent publisher. She ended her contract with them in 2015 and began working independently.

In 2016, her son passed away from a car accident. Raven managed to finish her novel The Secret of Collins Series but not without some struggle.
