Author has written 5 stories for Storm Hawks. I am older than dirt and young enough not to care. I can sing the Toy's R Us theme song by heart and mean it. I refuse to grow old gracefully and will embrace what is new. I am female, live in the states with two silly cats, have a real job, own furniture and a house to put it in, and can't wait until CN finally starts to show the new season of Storm Hawks (though I do sneak onto youtube). I write for fun, not profit. I try to inject my stories with a 'what if' perspective, and try to look at things from a different veiwpoint. I will try (but not promise) not to make my stories too wordy. I do promise never to post a story that isn't complete, and will update within 1 - 3 days (Best intentions of mice and men and all that, dieties willing and creeks not rising...) Please feel free to review my stories - good, bad or indifferent - it still means you cared enough to read and respond. Thanks for visiting! 12/13/08 - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! To paraphrase Sally Field when she won the oscar - You like me, you really like me!! (P.S. - told you I was old...) As of this writing I've published 5 stories so far, and they've been read, reviewed and in some cases, faved. I've even been faved! Publishing stories is a huge leap of faith, sure - I like them, I wrote them for heaven's sake, but it's one thing to think you've got something good going, and quite another to have it affirmed. However, due to the approaching holidays, I will have to go on a short hiatus. But don't worry (or be afraid, be very afraid...), Ah'll be bahhk. I've got unfinished stories giving me the puppy dog eyes (don't you love us anymore?), along with new ones clamoring to be let out - including a story I promised Child of October I would write. So until I return, I bid you happy holidays, adieu (and you and you and you), safe journeys and pleasant dreams. Yours, Liestra |
