Author has written 6 stories for Simoun, and Glee. I've been an avid reader of fanfic for some years now. I'm a huge slash shipper and as long as it's done tastefully, I can dig some smut... Sometimes senseless smuttiness is readable, but most of the time I like stories with substance and good character development. I have a variety of story types I'm into including Potter (which sort of opened me up to the whole fan fic world), various Yuri Anime, and most recently Glee. I've finally just start posting some of my own stories (the exception being an Anime story I posted some years back experimentally), but writing has been an important outlet for me for a while. And I guess I like the idea of it having a sense of anonymity, that you can write and post and just get (hopefully, lol) unbiased feedback. It's nice to get thoughts and viscious little plot bunnies out through familiar characters. My true goal is not only is to express myself, but to have fun with it, get feedback, and become a better writer which I hope to take more seriously someday. If you ever read any of my stuff, I most humbly thank you for your time and for reviewing. As of now my current works are Glee related and I have a feeling that it'll be the genre I'll probably write in for a while. I was a late comer on the Glee train but once I boarded, there was no turning back (which I initially hated to admit; cause what the hell is Glee?... But High School Musical for adults... Or so I once very sadly and mistakenly thought before I actually tried it on for size, lol). There are just too many rich characters to play with on that show. My personal fav is one, Mr. Kurt Hummel (I'm the same way with Hermione from Potter though) so most of my stories will likely revolve around him in some way, shape, or form. I quite enjoy Kurtofsky, Puckurt, and every now and again Kinn. Kurt with Blaine, I dig at times, but in my head it's fun to pair Kurt elsewhere since often in the show the gay boat doesn't seem to hit enough patchy waters or get rocked enough with those two in my opinion. I like the idea of messy, non-sensical, ill-timed, and just plain not perfect relationships. And I've discovered that I tend to go for darker themed story ideas. Again I like the twisted, conflictual sort of stuff, but fluff's cool every blue moon. I generally dig humor too. Wit is priceless. I love when author's just seem to have certain characters pegged and are just totally canon (even if it's A/U). I strive for the same in my writing and I hope I somewhat achieve it. I don't have a tumblr account or twitter or any of the other social networking connec's. Truth be told, I kinda dislike technology (probably cause I'm not good with it, lol, and I've always been accused of being an old soul). Maybe someday if I can manage to get over my technological bias/barrier, I can join the other universes of fandom and social connection. I only barely tolerate facebook, and I'm committed to this site so I can read, write and possibly post. I also dig YouTube, cause there's too much mind numbing, hilarity to be missed. Well, I think I'm done with my profile novel, lol. Thanks for reading about me and hopefully for checking out my work. Many, many of my sincerest thanks. |
