Current stories based on the Books of Pellinor by Alison Croggon:

Denouement: A Maerad/Cadvan fic that takes place after the events of The Singing. It's slightly AU- such an event is never mentioned in the appendices and is merely a guess as to what could've taken place in the years following the last book. It's a story in which Maerad finds herself subjected once again to the brutality found in the men of Gilman's Cot, where she was formerly a slave. The plot focuses on the reality of a few heavy issues Maerad has dealt with (rape, being afraid of love, what it means to fear), and how Bards handle such crimes. It also focuses on Maerad and Cadvan's budding relationship, and how these events shape who she is. Please heed my author notes about changes and such- when I redid this story, certain descriptions changed, which did affect the storyline. In progress.

From the Ashes: A Dernhil fic that contemplates the idea of his survival and how it would affect the other characters. Also known affectionately as the "Dernhil Loophole Story" by those from sffworld. It's a very intricate plot, one that has taxed my mind quite a bit, though in a good way. The idea is to touch upon many different emotions that each character would experience, especially Dernhil's emotions as finding himself alive after the Hulls attempt to scry him. Sent away from Innail to protect Maerad and the others should the Dark learn of his survival, none know he is alive save Siliva, who refuses to tell Maerad, even after Sharma is destroyed. In progress.

Truth: A Maerad/Cadvan fic. Maerad meets a mysterious woman in the marketplace of Innail while Cadvan is away in Norloch. The conversation filled with riddles comes to an end, and Maerad is given a package. After Cadvan returns, her world is once again thrown into choas, and she and Cadvan must flee Innail. OLD/COMPLETE REVAMP IS REQUIRED.

Pellinor one-shots: A collection of short stories that deal with a variety of issues and characters. Most are written when I have writer's block on my other stories, so updates are spontaneous. Characters: Maerad/Cadvan, Hem, Saliman, Saliman/Hekibel, Dernhil, Dernhil/Maerad, etc. If the idea comes to mind, I write it. Next to come is a Dernhil POV. In progress.

Project: Redfield: The next test subject of the Umbrella Corporation is Claire Redfield. Wesker already has his own plans for her, one that may reunite him with his oldest of foes: Chris. OLD. Hiatus/re-vamping.
