My pen name is just Midori (みどり), taken from my favorite color and one of my favorite seiyuus of all time (Midorikawa Hikaru). I added 'Hime-sama' (姫様) as a joke since I love Saiunkoku Monogatari. So if anybody's still wondering what to call me, it's just Midori. Midori-san, Midori-chan is okay. I'm in my early twenties and English is not my first language. Currently I'm learning Japanese and is planning to tackle another language in the future (either Korean or French).

NEWSFLASH: Okay, to those who are still reading this (if there are any), please forgive me... I had planned to upload the 8th chapter on Yunoki's birthday but was distracted by a whirlwind of other things that made me put the the project on hold again. I recently got a job (yay!) but the downside is that by the time I get home, I'm much too drained to update anything. Everyday I find myself sleeping in front of my laptop out of exhaustion just when I was about to type the continuation. I'm truly sorry about this..

Oh, and I was sidetracked before I got a job because I was playing Corda 2, ehehehe. Please don't throw rotten tomatoes! XD

Seriously, play the game!! It's really fun though I haven't succeeded in getting Yunoki's best ending yet. And you learn a lot of new information in the game that was never in the manga or anime. Naturally, this is because the game comes first then the manga/anime. Secondo Passo royally destroyed Kaji IMO, and it's too bad his character became so emo.. Game Kaji FTW!!

1. Her first love (one-shot/published/complete)

My very first fic that I dared published right after I've finished reading Zettai Kareshi. Soushi & Riiko's daughter just found a mysterious box in the attic and the existence of her mother's past love. Eh? Why does this guy in the picture look familiar?

2. Annoying Adagio (one-shot/published/complete)

My first story for Kiniro no Corda. It was supposed to be a prolog for a longer story, but in the end I hated where the story was going and decided to delete the whole thing. But I found the prologue pleasant enough so I decided to post it as a one-shot. It's a simple doodling about Yunoki Azuma's musings as he reflects about his relationship with Hino Kahoko.

3. La Chanson de l'adieu: It Started with an 'Adieu' (series/published/ongoing)

After gathering much courage and inspiration, I decided to finally post this story as my first official ongoing fic. This story sets after the ending of Kiniro no Corda 2 Encore game, in which Len leaves for Vienna to pursue his dreams of becoming a virtuoso hence leaving Kahoko, the girl he loved. The real story starts four years later however, with a relatively matured Kahoko who had gone through so many ordeals in her life. Some characters have moved on, and some haven't. Can Kahoko really face what surprises Fate has in store for her?

There are some music in my 'Adieu', especially in the engagement party chapter. Some of you might be familiar with the songs, especially Tchaikovsky’s ‘Mélodie’ since it's the infamous song Kahoko played in the third concours. As for the Fourth Sonata from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, it's an Encore song in the Christmas Concert scene (Kiniro no Corda 2 game). Since the videos have been removed from Youtube, I can't give links. Sorry. As for pairings' songs, I have made my choice long ago. Some are influenced by the game, and others by personal taste. Obviously they will be duets. Can you guess which songs I will pick?
