As a bookworm, writer, musician, artist and gamer, I tend to barely have time for everything I love and work. I just graduated from college last April, so basically I'm 20 years old, busy with my work and horribly, horribly broke. Not even adding enough about horrible homes. So, anyway. A bookworm. *clears throat* Here are the books I recommend right now. Codex Alera by Jim Butcher. It's a mix of high fantasy and sci-fi. Oh, and I love the fury system. Pokemon meets Rome? Bring it on!:) The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. Dragons! Magic! Elves! My fanfic! The last book was pretty meh but the rest of it is epic. Harry Potter by JK Rowling, because no book suggestion is complete without these guys. Every series by Rick Riordan. I'm kind of a mythology fantasy thingie geek. Yessss. Juliet by Anne Fortier. A lighter and softer (somewhat) Da Vinci Code but with Shakespeare! Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. A sweet angel, a sassy demon, four horsemen, a misplaced Antichrist and the end of the world? Yes. This dude don't regularly recommend fanfics but 30 H's just drove me crazy! Even though I like the dark, lonely and sometimes outright depressingly goth stuff but that doesn't mean that I would tolerate the monstrosity of My Immortal, or my brain would implode! I love punk rock! When writing my fics, I usually listen to My Chemical Romance, Paramore, All Time Low, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco and an entire plethora of local rock bands. I love Katy Perry and some of Taylor Swift's work too, which is pretty weird but I roll with it. It rarely happens but I'd recommend a few games for the gamers out there! Oh and forgive me for my lack of knowledge when it comes to modern consoles, I like keeping it old school! Try out Legend of Mana, Final Fantasy 6, any from Pokemon (I love the legendary birds and eevee!), Tales of Phantasia, Symphonia, Eternia and Destiny, and League of Draven, er, Legends.
