LONG OVERDO UPDATE (1/25/2016)

Hello everyone. I know it has been FOREVER since I have been active on . Life got in the way and it got to the point where I couldn't find the time to dedicate to writing fanfiction any more. Things are still crazy busy for me, but after recently re-reading one of my old fics, I felt inspired to stay true to promises I had made to write more on this site.

So I wanted to let everyone know, that final chapter for Just Acting that I never wrote, I will someday. It may not be right away, but it will happen at some point.

And that sequel I promised to write for Medical Miracle? That's my main priority.

My updates may be few and far between, and it may even be a while before I get anything started up, but I just wanted to let you all know that new material will be coming from me in the future. And hopefully, I can find the time to stick with it!

Dear Medical Miracle Readers (1/25/2016)

Wow, hard to imagine that I wrapped up this story in 2009. So much has happened in my life since then that has kept me from writing fan fiction, something that I have always been upset about, since I made promises long ago to write sequels and stories that have never happened.

I'm writing this note for anyone who still has this in their favorites to let you guys know that I just finished re-reading Medical Miracle for the first time in years. I read all of it in one day, and fell in love all over again with the story that truly started it all for me.

You see, in the years since my last update, I have attended and graduated from college. I now have a BA in Creative Writing and History with a minor in Writing. Since graduation, I've moved away from home, and have started a job writing articles about country music related news and topics.

I've also had multiple stories, poems, and non-fiction works published in a variety of online and print journals. But even while I was in college, I still never found the time to write creatively as much as I used to, especially not the longer, novel-length stories that are my first true love. My current job makes it even harder for me to feel inspired to write creatively, because I write so much during the week that I just need a mental break on the weekends.

After re-reading Medical Miracle and all of the lovely reviews I received, even years after I wrote the last chapter, I felt such a sadness that I never wrote the sequel that I promised. Brooke was, and still is, one of my all-time favorite characters that I've ever created, and after I finished re-reading the story, I felt I owed it to her to continue her and Carlisle's love story.

So with that being said, I know I've taken a long time to fulfill this promise, but I have made the plans to at some point within the next few weeks, start the sequel to Medical Miracle My updates may be few and far between, but I feel I need to do this not only for me, but for all of the fans who read and fell in love with Brooke's story over the years.

I am so excited to continue this story, and if you guys have any ideas or things you would like to see in the sequel, please let me know! Keep your eyes open for the sequel coming sometime within the next few weeks, and I'll try to keep the Medical Miracle part of the title so that it can be recognizable.
