Greetings!

I'm a novice writer from England who mostly writes fanfic for Doctor Who and Torchwood, but mainly Doctor Who these days, if anything.

Never expect regular updates, and I have a (bad) habit of leaving my work for long periods of time. But I will finish them. Eventually.

In addition to above, having looked back over some of my pieces, I do intend to finish Virus off, eventually.

Am going to try and work with shorter pieces, but I may, like with Tea Anyone?, clump what would be several short stories together.

Tea Anyone? has however been abandoned. I may tidy it up at some point, round off the edges, but that's about it.

After having participated in the Butterfly effect challenge (A butterfly flaps its wings, causes a hurricane in Peru), here's what I have to say on the subject of the butterfly effect:

A butterfly flaps its wings. A light breeze hits a small kid in a miscellaneous country who stumbles and treads on a caterpillar.

Balance is restored.

Update 16/05/2014: I still plan on finishing a Chance Encounter- I've got the plot it's just getting around to writing it. For now, I have two more (technically three) stories in the work, first up: an Eleventh Doctor and Clara Cybermen two parter: Brothers in Silver, and Metal Hearts. I have the first part 70% finished, and will start posting that (weekly) before the end of the month. Each part will have 5-10 chapters, and will be the approximate length of the current standard TV episode.

24/08/2014: I still plan on finishing a Chance Encounter. Busted out a one off today after yesterdays ep- I fully approve of the new Doc. I will also continue the Naughty Step, soonish. Been writing out the story behind it which makes it easier to write the thing itself. Not sure how, if or when that cybermen plot will appear on here (if at all). I still hope to finish Virus, but it's still very much a long term project.

25/08/2014: The Naughty Step- another chapter is up, and the remaining three chapters of this talette are completed and ready to go- I will be posting the remaining chapters once every three days (28th, 31st and finally the 3rd). Knowing my habit of sometimes leaving a tale unfinished I will be glad to mark this one as complete. So enjoy!

03/01/2016: A Chance Encounter and Virus are on indefinite hold. I may finish them in the future, I wouldn't hold your breath. In better news I will soon be posting Deep Trouble: a Thunderbirds Are Go! (2015) fic- I can assure you this will be completed as I have a complete plot and chapter layout and have already written five of the ten chapters already, averaging one chapter as day since I started (I suspect this will decrease as I return to work tomorrow, but it has been pretty good going since the 31st). I am currently looking for a beta reader for this, who can help me with the flow and presentation (layout of speaking is a weak point of my writing) and give liberal doses of constructive criticism.
