Author has written 10 stories for Halo, Love Hina, and Negima! Magister Negi Magi/魔法先生ネギま!.
Update: Ladies and gentlemen of the internet, we have returned.
Due to the fact that a number of additional authors are beginning to write material for the Kuroverse, it was decided that a new account would be created to host all Kuro Arashi-related projects in a single location. Authors of note that contribute to this collection include: Chris Ganale, Dischord, Jusuchin Panjirinanu, and Alexander Akai. Below is a list of all the Kuro projects, their authors, and a brief description.
Main Storyline
Kuro Arashi: The Black Storm
Author: Chris Ganale
Status: In-Progress, Chapter 25 underway/remaster in progress
Description: The primary tale of the Kuroverse, following the trials, triumphs, tragedies, and tribulations of the Heroes Chosen by the Gods, otherwise known as Kuro Arashi, in their quest to defeat the evil pair of Namusan Sapou and Kawakami Gensai, two immortal and legendary figures that threaten the entire world with complete destruction.
Kuro Arashi: The Prequel Story
Author: Chris Ganale
Status: In-Progress, Chapter 3 underway
Description: Before the swordsman Seno Nakagami changed fate and the future by bringing Keitaro and Naru together, he came to live at Hinata-Sou. This is the story of the wacky zaniness that ensued, and somehow still managed to hold mostly to plot.
As-Yet-Untitled Kuro Arashi Sequel
Author: Chris Ganale
Status: Not yet begun
Description: Set fifteen years after the ending of Kuro Arashi, the sequel tells the tale of the Children of the Heroes and their own epic battle against an enemy long thought defeated. Can the children follow in their parents' footsteps, or will the world be doomed to damnation and ruin?
Kuro Arashi Side-Stories
Interludes: Steel and Heart
Author: Chris Ganale
Status: In-Progress, to be incorporated into the main story
Description: A series of interludes focusing on the lives of Seno and Motoko Nakagami, beginning with their childhood in Shinmei-ryu. Will likely include some deleted scenes from Kuro Arashi or Kuro Prequel.
Future Perfect: Chao Lingshen's Tale
Author: Chris Ganale
Status: Complete; Remaster in progress
Description: Chao had to have a reason for wishing to reveal magic to the world. That reason was humanity teetering on the brink of annihilation at the hands of an unstoppable alien juggernaut. An origin story for the Girl That Time Forgot, and how she made her mark on history.
Flight of the Cormorant
Author: Jusuchin Panjirinanu
Status: In-Progress
Description: A detailed look at the massive conflict set in a future Kuro Arashi storyline arc that has come to be known by one of two names: The Unification War and the War of the Gods. Narrated by Chao Lingshen, using testimony from soldiers on both sides who fought and bled, and in some cases, died for their beliefs.
Wish Upon A Snowflake
Author: Dischord
Status: Complete
Description: A fluffy, SenoxMotoko-centric one-shot set during the Christmas Season 2007.
Gunpowder Pact (Working Title)
Author: Jusuchin Panjirinanu
Status: Not yet begun
Description: A short story describing the early life of CIA Agent Ruiz, from his 'death' and his training, to his eventual assignment to Japan as part of the American-Japanese CIA observer over the Kuro Arashi crew.
The Unsung War
Author: Chris Ganale
Status: In-Progress
Description: The year is 2552. The Covenant has smashed the UNSC's orbital fleet and MAC array, laid siege to Earth, and killed millions in their bloody war of conquest against the human race. As humanity wavers on the brink of extinction, the survival of the human race falls on the shoulders of the heroic soldiers who will rise to finish the fight. Not starring Master Chief. He may not even appear outside of occasional mentions.
Ask the Kuro Crew
Author: The Entire Production Staff
Status: Questions desperately needed
Description: We have decided to go the way of so many other of the groupings that write for/in/of Negima, and create our own 'Ask X' series. Readers of the Kuro Arashi anthology may ask any question of any member of the Kuro Crew, Ala Alba, or other various and sundry units. Questions need not originate solely from Kuro Arashi itself, you can make questions of any character from any of the multitude of works we've produced.
Interludes: Silk and The Full Moon
Author: Dischord
Status: Being Written
Description: A series of brief interludes focusing on the lives of Kaolla Suu and Nealla Juu, beginning with their childhood in Mol Mol. May contain spoilers for later events concerning the two in Kuro Arashi.
I Am ODST: Memoirs of a Student-Soldier
Author: Chris Ganale
Status: In-Progress, remaster in progress
Description: For a character as colorful and with such great potential as Yuuna Akashi, it's a shame that she only has such a minor role as a supporting actress in the grand scope of Kuro Arashi. In order to give her a bit more of the screentime she deserves, this is her story, told in her own words.
Interludes: Dreams and Reality
Author: Alexander Akai
Status: Being Written
Description: A series of interludes focusing on the life of Hiroyuki Murakami, begining with his childhood in Mahora. Will explain important back-story moments in Hiro's life and will probably include spoilers(and deleted scenes) for later events in Kuro Arashi.
The Timesnatcher
Author: Chris Ganale
Status: In-Progress
Description: Following the final conclusion of the Human-Covenant War, Chao returned to the past to fulfill a promise she and Evangeline had once made to Negi Springfield. In doing so, she revealed her Gateway Device, the creation that allowed her to go to any dimension she wants. With the wars of the past and future won, peace finally can reign. But for Chao, knowing that there are always bigger and greater threats that could be lurking, what she has done to secure the dimension she helped to forge is not enough for her. To that end, it's time to take a multiverse-spanning adventure to ensure that she'll always be prepared to protect those she cares about.
