Author has written 3 stories for Torchwood, and Doctor Who. I really suppose I should write something in here, huh? Name: Rose Tyler. ... No? Ah, well, thought I'd try _. Age: I'm a college student. Location: Somewhere in the United States. (Of course, the shows I write stories for are British. So, I apologize if I get some terminology wrong _; I do my best!) TV Shows: "Doctor Who" is by far my favorite TV show, probably of all time (and I don't foresee anything knocking it out of that spot). "Torchwood," "Firefly" (despite the fact that it was canceled after half a season grumble), and "Robin Hood" are up there, too. "The Sarah Jane Adventures" are fun, as are "The Big Bang Theory" and "Boy Meets World" (also despite the fact that it's no longer on TV). Books: I've read a LOT of books, but the seven "Harry Potter" books have been some of my absolute favorites. I've recently gotten into the "Sword of Truth" series, and that's been awesome so far, too. I really liked the "Cirque du Freak" series, as well, regardless of the fact that I was quite a bit older than its intended audience when I started reading it. Hehe. Movies: "Serenity" holds the top spot. Um... I liked "Bend it Like Beckham," and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies (though they slipped a bit as they went on, in my opinion). I liked "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," too, but I prefer the old BBC miniseries from like, the 80s, that my dad's comic-book-store-owning friend managed to track down once. Oh, and "The Princess Bride." It's just one of those movies... Generally speaking, I tend to like science-fiction and fantasy stuff... But I'll enjoy anything that's done well. _ |
