"If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explaination is that I was made for another world."

~C.S. Lewis, a genius appologetic and the author of the Narnia series.~

A bit about me: I'm a social work student, highly invovled in the Christian church, and I write stories, songs, and music as a way to relax. Though my fanfic is primarily that of the Harry Potter cannon right now, I've also written a great deal of Star Wars fanfic, which may or may not find its way onto this site as time goes on. As I'm in a demanding major, I don't have alot of time to write--but I still do write often, particularly when I hit a wall studying and need to release some creative energy.

I never could justify the writing of fanfiction while the cannon story marched on...the idea that my story could somehow conflict really bothered me. Now that Deathly Hallows has been published, I expect my brain will come up with countless little plots and stories. I continue to be obsessed with the character of Penelope Clearwater (who, in my brain, for the record, is in Percy's year, per the edit to the subsequent edition of CoS, and half-blood, per Hermione's comments in DH, with a muggle mother and wizarding father) and her relationships. Really, I just find the whole group of that age fascinating, since they are close enough in age to Harry to be involved in the war, but old enough to have fleeting memories of the first war as well. I'm particularly interested in the dynamic presented by 'mixed' families--families that contain both magical and muggles. I would also love to write something about the wizarding war from the perspective of a muggle--it might be interesting.

Oh, and I love writing prompts. Please, everyone, feel free to send me ideas; I may just write them. :)
