My one-shots, in order of personal preference:

Chocolate Tears: There was someone crying in the bathroom. The boys' bathroom on the fourth floor. So, naturally, Astoria Greengrass went to investigate.

The Most Dangerous Game: The Black Widow, she was called. The Husband-Killer. The one with seven husbands, all of whom had mysteriously died. She didn't deny the rumors, because she wasn't a good person. It just wasn't her who'd killed all those men. And it wasn't until Blaise that she tried to escape him, the killer of her husbands, the boy she'd once been friends with, the one she still loved.

Snapshots: It may have been Harry Potter who Colin hero-worshipped, but it was Ginny Weasley who he would do anything for.

Too Late: After the war, Percy was lost. It was his fault Fred had died, his mistakes that tore their family apart, his happiness that couldn't be, anymore, because it was wrong for him to be happy when Fred, and so many others, were dead. No one understood… except, maybe, Audrey Brown.

Wrappers: It was the middle of the night, but Alice Longbottom couldn't sleep. Then, the Death Eaters came.

Crashing Down: Petunia and Vernon Dursley die in a car crash, and someone Dudley never would have expected comes to the funeral.

Silent: Mary Macdonald had always been the coward of her friend group. Always too scared to speak out, for herself and for people like her. Too scared to do anything more than flirt, to date anyone long-term. Too scared to ask for help, to be more than just average in class. So when Mulciber attacked her, at the start of sixth year, in some ways, it was a relief. That became her excuse. She didn't join the Order. And then, Lily Potter died, and You-Know-Who disappeared. And then, Mary applied to the Department of Mysteries.

Normal: All Petunia Evans ever wanted was to be special.

Obscured: Aberforth knows that Gellert Grindelwald will bring them nothing but pain. Why can't Albus see that? Gellert is the best thing that has ever happened to Albus. Why can't Aberforth accept that? Gellert has finally found a companion, just as brilliant as he is. Why does Albus insist on dragging his wayward brother and his damaged sister along?

Monster: Tessie Prewett knows that there's something wrong about Tom Riddle; that he isn't the model student he seems to be; that he's dangerous, somehow. And she's determined to make everyone see that. She just never thought... (Tessie Prewett is, in my headcanon, Ron's great aunt Tessie, whom he apparently looks & smells like during the Yule Ball.)

Ashes to Ashes: There was a saying, in her family, that a phoenix would come to any Dumbledore in dire need. Well, if that was true, Ariana thought that her phoenix had come three years too late. Only maybe, it wasn't her who the phoenix was truly there for.
