Before the towering building of Wool’s Orphange, Merope Gaunt was stopped by a mysterious stranger. Unexpectedly, the stranger, now named Harry Gaunt, had helped her and even promised to care for her son. Years later, Harry continues to care for young Tom Gaunt. From there, the reltionship between Harry and his adopted son Tom grow slowly, and so does the tale of Tom’s life.
