Some stuff about me-

Name: I don't like my real name. So...my screename is the best you'll get.
Location: How I wish it would be NYC, but right now its behind the computer screen.
Fandoms: I read and write Newsies but I'm beginning to write some RENT.

I'm a huge Broadway freak. My nails are almost always electric blue. I'm really shy, unless you pop my bubble then I talk a lot. I belt showtunes on a random basis. I have a "musical of the day". I write on my arms and my parents hate it...sorry parental units. I'm a performer. I love rain, and storms. I'm such a night owl its not even funny. I got to see the RENT tour on March 15th 2008. I got to see the Wicked tour on May 13th 2008.

Favorite Characters:

Newsies: KID BLINK! (He's my favorite)

Skittery/Spot/Jack

David- He's okay, not my favorite but..he's still cool.

However I loathe the character of Sarah, and Medda isn't too big in my book either.

RENT: (I love them all, but here's some sort of an order.)
Roger- Roger, I don't know how to explain it but I connect to the character of Roger in a big way. Its hard to explain, its just one of those...feelings.

Mark/Mimi- After Roger I really like Mark and Mimi. Mimi has this fire and drive that I like, and I love the song Out Tonight. I can never get tired of that. Mark cares so much for his friends, and I see a lot of myself in Mark.

Maureen/Collins/Angel- I love Maureen and Collins and Angel and I can't put one in front of the other. Maureen is so loveable and spazzy, Collins is a giant teddy bear, and Angel is just amazing, her kindness and creativity and the way how she sees the best things in life is right in front of her is amazing. (Wow, huge run-on sentance much? haha.)

Joanne- Joanne can be too serious for me at times, but I give her props for having to deal with the spazzness of Maureen.

Benny- I love Taye Diggs but Benny...yeah, he's smart for marrying rich but he's not smart for ditching his friends.

Favorite Pairings:

(For Newsies, I don't have a favorite pairing. If Jack/Sarah is written well than its good. I'm not the biggest fan of slash and OCs can make me mad sometimes. So skip that.)

Roger/Mimi
Angel/Collins and MoJo- They both get second because I can't pick one favorite over the other.
Mark/Maureen- PreRENT only.
Roger/April- PreRENT only (again)
For the most part I'm a strictly canon type of person.

Roger/Mark- Um. NO. I love them as friends, but not as lovers.
Collins/OC- I can't see Collins with anybody else besides Angel.
Anything else that messes up canon I don't like.

My RENT Experience: Well first of all, it all started on August 15th 2007. I heard that Aaron Lohr and Kevin Stea was in the move-musical RENT. They were both in Newsies, and I said to myself, "I need to watch that movie to see them." So for some apparant reason my dad bought RENT a year before because he heard it was good. We never got around to watching it. So I stayed up that night to watch the movie. I. Loved. It. I went to bed that night singing Finale B in my head. The next day we went out and got the soundtrack, and picked up my friend to spend the night. The entire car ride we were singing along to the c.d. After that, I looked up the cast members (all except for Idina Menzel and Anthony Rapp because I already knew about them.) to learn more about them. I learned more about the Broadway version, and listened to the songs that weren't in the movie. Seven months later I got to see the tour cast for my birthday. The only thing that sucked about it, was that I was sick with the flu and coughed and shook throughout the performance. But I still loved it and it made an impact on me. We were sitting in the orchestra, five rows from the stage. It was amazing.

Side note that's really random. Two weeks before I became a RENThead, I was in NYC on a mission trip with my theatre group. We were in the city by the Nederlander while Adam and Anthony were there. -_- That sucked.
