Story line you have to conclude:

Harry is intelligent but he's trying to hide it because of his previous life with Dursley, McGonagall somehow discovers this fact and she's trying to understand why (it can be end of third or whole fourth year, not earlier!) and help Harry.

She has to mention something about how powerful are words which made Harry thinking.

Rita has to upsets Harry which is the main reason why he's starting to thing how he should defend himself and his friends and family.

He meets Luna who'll mention about ask section in Quibbler/Prophet. Harry is furious because of something and decides to write ask to one or both of mentioned magazines about how it's that Sirius hadn't been given trial . They have to ignore him. He has to talk with Luna about it.

Harry decides to start his own paper.

REQUIREMENTS:

Intelligent Harry. His grades have to improve. He has to become independent. He has to be grey, what's making him arguing with Dumbledore.

DON'T MAKE HIM MARY SUE. He may be powerful, but nope, he cannot be super, hipper, ideal. He has to make mistakes, he has to struggle sometimes, he's still teen and needs guidance. Idk, make him drunk and let him destroys something which made Sirius and McGonagall disappointed in him, make him regrets it or something like that. It's up to you but you know what I mean. If you're making him powerful it MUST has consequences and he HAS TO learn how to control his powers.

Harry wants to change magic world, he has to write about it in his paper (only few people can know about his ownership!).

Harry has to be paired with one of them: Lisa Turpin, Su Li, Eloise Midgen, Lily Moon (she has to be in Slytherin), Fay Dunbar, Sophie Roper o Sally Smith. OR, if you want to make Harry bi or gay, he may be in relationship with: Wayne Hopkins, Stephen Cornfoot, Oliver Rivers, Marcus Belby. You also may give Sirius son and ship him with Harry (well, this MUST change relationship between Harry and Sirius but Sirius still has to love Harry as child, give them difficult moments but they have to finally agree. Also, if you decided on it, Sirius cannot find out that he has son before summer after third year, and his son has to think that he is muggleborn, that's how nobody connect him with his father).

Harry has to be friendly with Luna and Neville. Luna may be like little sister to him.

Ron is prat. He has to betray Harry during fourth year (I don't care about him BUT he has to be friendly with Harry at least to end of the third year). Their friendship has to be complicated.

Harry has to start be friendly with other students, not only in Gryffindor, and it has to starts before the tournament. That's how he has to meet his partner.

McGonagall has to be supportive, she has to help Harry and he can always come to her and just talk!

Optional:

Dumbledore as a manipulative prat.

Luna a Sirius' daughter.

Lordship, Harry as the lord.

Harry friendly with goblins.

Please, make Sirius teaching Harry about wizards' old traditions. Harry discovers that this is one of the main reasons why traditionalists hate muggleborns. He has to start writing about it in his paper.
