Hello, my pseudo name is Mickey. I came up with the name when I was 13 and decided I wanted to be a writer. Since then, things have changed quite a lot, but I still feel my soul is that of a writer.

Harry Potter, as a whole, means so much to me. I had trouble in school and hated reading, until I really started reading the Harry Potter series. Over the years, my grades improved, social skill increased, and I started writing my own stories. Some were original, some were HP fanfiction. Currently, I'm writing a book I can't wait to see finished and published.

It's funny, on my first profile, I remember writing "I will never read a Harry/Draco story" and that ended up being my OTP. I clicked on a story that just had them as friends, only they were in love with each other and Draco seemingly died before they could get together. The fic relied on the surprise element and didn't disclose the pairing before I was hooked. It's been years since I read it, so I have no idea which one it was, but I wish I could thank the author. I love their dynamic, the challenge they have to overcome to be together (sometimes), how passionate they are, the way it could have so easily been different in canon, the way canon Draco and Harry obviously have something going on.

About A Hard Story

Since I've gotten into Drarry, I read it pretty much exclusively. There are so many good tropes, but the one I loved the most, that didn't have enough stories, is the idea that they really could have been friends all along. I like seeing how things would have been different if they had gotten together at one point or another, seeing how the plot would unfold. A subcomponent of this is the "secret relationship" trope. I think this might be my all-time favorite, and I've read around four really good ones. There were things I didn't like about all of them, however, so I set out to create my own story. I had ideas wiggling around in the back of my head, how I would change things, scenes that could've been different, and they all connected and started weaving together into a unique story.

doesn't allow explicit content, and the story was written to be in later chapters. I haven't totally decided how I'm going to handle that, but any suggestions would be appreciated.
