An ad in the local classified offers Casey the chance to escape out of the reach of the man who has hurt her too many times. Brothers Dennis and Barry need a roommate. Casey needs a way out. Will she find the safety she seeks, or will her lies catch up with her before her uncle does?

He could have loved her. It seemed at any point he could have just turned around and found it, that edge, the one he was always just shy of falling over. Follows the show through season one and two. Shows more of the emotion than the actual plot.

When Casey Cooke is taken by the Beast, the other alters are forced to keep her there or face the Beast's wrath. Soon she begins to hear rumors of another alter, one stronger than them all. He was dark, unstable, had been forced from the light because they do not trust him. Now Casey's only hope against the Beast is finding this alter, who may be worst than the Beast himself.
