Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter. Update 4-16-04: Like an old sweater, I outgrew my old pen name, Rawiya, and have tucked it carefully away in my brain, so as to remember it fondly as I work under a new name. My Stories on FanFiction.netFallen: Sugarquill tested, mother approved, "Fallen" is a character study of Remus Lupin, as he reflects on the night he became a werewolf. In my opinion, it is my best piece, and my baby. Although angsty in parts, it is not overally depressing or, in my opinion, cliche and cheesy. I haven't seen an "origin of the bite piece" quite like "Fallen." Give it a read, it will be worth your time. The Night of the Niffler: This was a response to a Sugarquill challenge. The story had include a fantastic beast and take place (in part) in the Forbidden Forest. Oh yeah, it could not exceed 1000 words. Quite a challenge on my part. It is a cute, short read. Back when I was Rawiya: Family Tree: Ah yes, my first attempt at fan fiction, which I finally finished. It started as a story that centered around Harry, Sirius, and a new character, but Hermione and Ron seemed to work their way into the story. I discovered that Ron is dreadfully fun to write. The Book of Carmen: My current WIP, which is the Sequel to Family Tree. It starts around Christmas of Harry's 5th year. An ancient evil is making its presence known to all, it must be stopped, but the price may be too high. Remus makes an entrance, as does an eccentric DADA professor. Selene is back as well as Sirius. I'm really looking forward to writing this story so please check it out. This story has become a thorn in my side. I simply cannot figure out the ending! This is quite dreadful considering I left it on a cliffhanger. Perhaps one day I will must up the strength to end this story, but as of right now, I cannot say when, or how, it will end. Sirius' Response: I'm actually pretty proud of this one. Although its really short, it took me about four hours to write it. It's in Iambic Pentameter (five feet, unstressed, stressed), and to be quite frank, it was a bitch. The subject is Sirius Black's response to Hamlet's "To be or Not to Be.." speech. I really liked doing it, and I might try another (my english roots are showing!) I suppose it is my answer to songfics. Yours in ink, Yet the making of things is in my heart from my own making by thee; and the child of little understanding that makes a play of the deeds of his father may do so without the thought of mockery, but because he is the son of his father. -J.R.R Tolkien "The Silmarillion" |
