Hello, I go by the online username daveping243 on many websites. I've enjoyed captivating stories all throughout my life, and because of that, I've developed a big passion for writing my own stories. Eventually, I became a user here and figured I can write my own fan fictions that will pull readers in. Since I have a knack for developed characters and well executed narratives, I want to really impress people. As for what kind of fan fiction that I write: It's primarily stuff based on video games.

"What qualifies as "a main story" to daveping243?" - Well, a main story to me is a story that has 30 or more chapters. These are also the stories that I work on more heavily than shorter stories. They often have a more fleshed out narrative, featuring characters who are written with actual depth and character development.

"What qualifies as "a shorter story" to daveping243?" - A shorter story to me is a story that has less than 20 chapters. These stories are often less serious, and instead, more fun to read. These can be enjoyable, or they're made exclusively to make people laugh.

"What about any stories from you that are more than 20 chapters long, but less than 30?" - I call those stories "borderline stories". They can have aspects from both of the other categories that I have listed. This is mostly for funny stories that still go for a flowing narrative with decent characters.

The Misadventures of Dave: Into the World of Puyo Puyo - This is the story of Dave... who one day, ends up going into a portal, against his own will. Going through said portal caused his body and age to change. Really, he became a seventeen year-old guy, that's what's important. He wakes up just outside of Suzuran, where Ringo coincidentally finds him lying on grass. After the two meet each other, a whole bunch of events happen in Dave's new day-to-day life. This takes place about five years after the events of Puyo Puyo Tetris, but as if Puyo Puyo Chronicle's events never happened (so no Ally or Rafisol in this story).

Status of Story: Ongoing

Nepgear's Duel Monster's Journey - This is a crossover story of Hyperdimension Neptunia and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. After an unspecified amount of time has passed since the events of Megadimension Neptunia VII, Nepgear creates an accident that sends her to the world that New Domino City resides in. She wakes up at an alleyway in the Satellite, with little to no memory, where she encounters some trouble. (I know that this will be a fun one to go through... that's if you are a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. I have always been a huge fan of it, ever since it was a thing. I play the TCG to this very day as well, but maaan is it so fast and brutal. Too many broken cards! But, I digress... This story will feel like the anime in many ways, so look forward to that.)
