Author has written 7 stories for Robin Hood BBC, Doctor Who, and Primeval. Hola, dear readers. My pen name is vultures, quite obviously. I also go by the name andthedescent on LJ and on some forums I'm called Panda, or various derivations thereof. I'm a teenage girl, a college student and a proud geek. I'm studying biology, chemistry and physics (and photography too, though that's just for fun) and am set on either training to be a vet, going into medical research, zoology or else a bit of paeleontology, 'cause that's my idea of fun. I like all sorts of animals, particularly herptiles, and I keep lizards. I think it would be pretty amazing to be a wildlife photographer. I read Michael Crichton books. I think they're pretty cool and I like pointing out mistakes with his physics. Fanfiction is my guilty pleasure and I adore writing. I might get around to penning out a novel one day, if I can keep my attention on it for long enough. Regarding fandoms, I currently like: BBC's Robin Hood, Doctor Who, Primeval, Lost and a bit of Prison Break, too. Some of them I'm more familiar with than others, and currently I've only ever written for Robin Hood, Doctor Who and Primeval. I also watched Bonekickers, because it's just so bad it's almost good. My shiny new love is BBC Merlin. It is steadily growing on me. I'm very open-minded when it comes to ships. I read both het and slash and I'd write both too, given a little inspiration. My Fics: So far I've got A Most Determined Mistress, A Priori, Bedtime Story and Sinners for Robin Hood. I've written Cling for Doctor Who and In Which We Burn and That Awful Sound for Primeval. In Which We Burn is nowhere near complete yet, though I have the story arc planned out and it promises to be pretty epic if I ever get around to finishing it (I will, once exams are over). I have a half-written multi-chapter Doctor Who fic from a year ago going by the name of Gene Therapy on my computer, and if I get time to finish it then you can expect to see it up here. I never ask for them but I love reviews, and I love talking to people who share my interests, too. I also love this quote, because it's a favourite of my Chemistry teacher's and rather silly: If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate! Also, as of 15/10/08 I am alive and working on the next chapter of In Which We Burn. Just in case anyone was starting to doubt = |
