Hm, a profile page! Hello.

I'm Justin. I'm 24. I'm from South-West Australia, which is an isolated but pretty decent corner of the world that I like quite a lot. My parents are Thai and Dutch but I was born in Australia, so hooray for multiculturalism.
I studied engineering and physics at the University of Western Australia. Recently I was accepted into Stanford to do a Masters in Astronautical Engineering, a.k.a. space engineering, and oh gosh I somehow got into Stanford. My parents are veterinarians. This is mostly awesome, until you have to help with cutting animals open (for good reasons). I play the piano and and love playing tennis. I also enjoy reading, writing, video games, board games, building elaborate Lego sculptures... My ideal personal future is to 1) save the world with science, 2) design really cool spaceships and 3) become a bestselling author in my spare time. Optimism! Tumblr: @jetpacksunrise (no no longer updated and mostly terrible) Website: (under construction, because why not) Instagram/Facebook: @justin.jessada (if you're really into stalking)

Other random stuff: I frickin' love seals. My favourite colour is yellow. Spiders are the worst. Chocolate is the best. I still haven't gotten over the ending of His Dark Materials. If I haven't updated for a while, it's probably because I'm busy with university which I apologise for and I'll get back to writing SOON.

Current Stories:

My first project was Till the End of Time, a grimdark-yet-humorous Elder Scrolls IV story. It's currently on hiatus, but there's a chance I may complete it sometime within the next two decades. I started it when I was fourteen so don't be too harsh.

I recently finished a novelisation of the movie Super 8, which now includes a sequel called A Sky of Starlight. People tell me it's pretty good, so... maybe you should read it? If you want? Yes?

I've also written a few smaller things, most of which I've deleted because they were baaaaad. One, however, is currently being expanded into a full original novel which I'll start posting on FictionPress at some point.

Current Favourite Things:

TV Shows: Freaks and Geeks, Sense8, Haikyuu!!, The Good Place, Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones

Movies: Aliens, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, A Silent Voice, Sing Street, Arrival, Baby Driver

Games: Trackmania 2, SWAT 4, Freespace 2, Persona 5, DOOM, The Last Guardian

Books: A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet (Becky Chambers), The Hydrogen Sonata (Iain M. Banks), Red Country (Joe Abercrombie), Guards Guards (Terry Pratchett), I'll Give You the Sun (Jandy Nelson), Memories of Ice (Stephen Erikson)

So, uh... that's it, I guess. If anybody actually reads this, congrats on being a wonderful person and have a nice day! Feel free to send me a PM if you feel like talking to a bored Australian. I CAN TELL YOU ALL ABOUT KANGAROOS.

A Sky of Starlight reviews
In the weeks following that fateful night, Joe and his friends made a promise: to stick by each other, stay alive, and find the truth. But one little promise can lead to some *very* interesting consequences... First half is a novelisation, second half is an all-new sequel featuring action, romance, insults, friendship, new characters, alien invasions and a whole bunch of mysteries.

Till the End of Time reviews
Tamriel's got problems; just ask its citizens, who keep being invaded by demons. To rectify this situation, we have a thoroughly unheroic prisoner, a geriatric grandmaster, a nice but boring Emperor, and a whole bunch of Legionnaires. An Oblivion semi-novelisation.

Torment reviews
So here's the first couple of chapters of a potential Torment novelisation. Why did I write it, when the game is basically a novel anyway? NO IDEA. But hey, it's one of the only Planescape stories on FanFiction, when there should be many more.

The Gift of a Spirit reviews
Shadow of the Colossus in three pages - pretty much a novelisation, obviously with a few changes to fit it in. Written for a fantasy project in Year 9 English, so don't be TOO harsh...
