I'll make it short and sweet, as best I can. My name is Dunie (obviously not the name my parents gave me, because that would just be cruel). I write when I can, beta when I can't, and read fics whether I have time or not. I tend to stick to Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha, Harry Potter, and my newest loves, Firefly and Torchwood. I will, however, read just about anything, though I've got a fairly strict no-incest policy, but it like most things can be temporarily suspended. It's like Lincoln with habeus corpus - I recognize that the no-incest policy is inherently good, but there are times when it needs to be set aside for the greater good. Or something like that.

I am morally opposed to crossovers. And by "morally opposed," I mean "disgusted by the fact that I've yet to read one that isn't complete ridiculous, full of plot holes, and sprinkled liberally with poor characterization." To the point that I refuse to read one without a major endorsement from a trusted person.

As far as my writing goes, I will get around to posting things. Really. Fall is an icky season for me. Of course, so's winter, and when you get right down to it, spring. But I'm working on a few things, and they will be up. Aside from that, I generally write in the same fandoms I read, which may expand to Sweeney Todd soon, just because I'm in love with the thought of writing Mrs. Lovett.

Busy. Busy busy busy. Crazy busy. Writing for the "real world" right now, but hopefully within the next couple weeks I can work on my less relevant but much more fun projects. Why is it that "fun" and "real worl" are two categories that never seem to overlap?
