Levi is a stripper dancing at the Dollhouse, the richest gentlemen club in town. Though he's worked there for years, his untreated mental illness is finally getting to the point that it's threatening his career. He meets Eren, who is studying to be a psychiatrist, and who both physically desires and wants to protect the fragile dancer.

Eren is a graduate student who, after getting out a horribly abusive relationship, has sworn he will never love again. He's doing an internship at the Sina Aquarium, a rescue and rehabilitation center for aquatic animals, and the only aquarium rumored to have a mermaid. He soon finds out that it's no rumor, and that the mermaid is just as broken as he is.

The Wings of Freedom is an agency that rehabilitates children the world has given up on, showing them what its like to lead a normal life, and Levi is its strongest member. It's here he meets Eren, his most difficult case yet. The 17 year old boy is terrified of his own shadow, and Levi must show him that it's okay to trust and love again.
