I have been reading Ranma fanfiction for a while. I have a particular interest in serious, character-heavy dramas with a tendency towards angstiness / darkness, takahashi-esque comedy pieces and parody pieces. I am not a particular fan of any pairings or purely romantic pieces in general, but I like anything unconventional, including yaoi / yuri, if it is well done and in character.

I was inspired to start writing my own fanfiction by several excellent pieces of work from other authors. To Walk A Mile is the first piece of creative writing I have done since I left school, but hopefully it won't be the last. Unfortunately, for about the last year, I've had massive writer's block which, up until last month or so, prevented me from being able to string together any vaguely creative-writing type sentence. On the good side, that seems to be improving lately (yay for horrible illness!), so we'll see what happens.

Work In Progress:

To Walk A Mile: character-centric drama starring Pantyhose Tarou, Ranma and Ryouga. Why Tarou? Because he's a wonderful, complex character who isn't used enough in fanfiction. Status: Err... unknown. I know how I'm going to finish, more or less, but, you know, writer's block! Apologies to anyone who was reading this. I would still like to get it finished.
