Hi, it's us -- Cmar and Dagmar Buse. :) (In strictly alphabetical order!)

As some of you probably know, both of us are writing slash stories about our favorite Ranger couples --Wes/Eric from PRTF and Jason/Tommy from MMPR/Zeo. We happened to discuss our respective stories (Cmar's "Red Fire" series http://www.fanfiction.ws/u/228522/ and Dagmar's "More Than Friends And Brothers" http://www.fanfiction.ws/s/3130216/1/) one day, remembered a certain scene in "Forever Red" between Eric and Jason (you might recognize the dialogue in the first chapter; it's directly quoted) … and both got bit by the mother of all plot bunnies. This collaboration is the result of that bite. To clarify matters, the above-mentioned stories give the backstory for both couples; it might be helpful if you had read them before, but the fic you're just looking at is not necessarily integral to either storyline. Comment from Dagmar: If you're familiar with "More Than Friends And Brothers", some of you might notice that a specific date I mentioned in chapter 2 doesn't quite fit in with the timeline we've established in here – which is based on airdates of MMPR/Zeo, PRTF, Forever Red and PRDT. The reason? At the time I wrote that chapter, the idea for this story hadn't been conceived yet. But it's a minor matter, really, and in my mind not worth changing and reposting what I've done before. So I'm begging your indulgence, please?

Comment from Cmar: In my 'Red Fire' series, some of you will have noticed that I've made both Wes and Eric a little older than they are usually portrayed - mid-twenties during Time Force. While there is nothing in particular to support these ages, there's nothing that really contradicts it in canon, either. The age difference will come up in this story.
