Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter. 7/28/18 - A year into writing my second-year story of Sirius and I'm not as far in as I'd like to be, but progress is still being made and I'm very excited about some of the events I have planned throughout the story. In fact, it may be difficult to top the insanity in the following years. I would like to apologize for not posting my story as I complete chapters, but I simply cannot bring myself to do that. As I've mentioned before, I go back and change things as the story progresses, but also from the perspective of a reader of fan fiction, I hate getting invested in a story and realizing at the last chapter that it is not complete. On an unrelated personal note, I am going to see Another Brick in the Wall, the orchestral production based on the movie based on the album The Wall, which is taking place at Music Hall tonight. I have been highly anticipating this since the moment I was invited, as it is the closest I can ever get to experiencing true live Pink Floyd until we discover time travel (and it isn't at all really; I don't see any evidence that Roger Waters was involved in this production). Until I have a T.A.R.D.I.S. of my own, I can only dream of viewing each of my favorite musicians in their prime. "And after they've given you their all, some stagger and some fall, after all, it's not easy banging your heart against some mad bugger's wall." - Outside the Wall, The Wall, Pink Floyd 1/24/18 - It is a difficult period of my life right now. Aside from usual busyness of school and work, I've had to face some harsh realities. I've done quite a bit of pondering about my story, but my writing has slowed. However, we are nearing slow season at work, which is great because the more bored I am, the more I will write. "We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty!" - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams 10/24/17 - Greetings people of fanfiction. Year two is well under way and it looks like it will be longer than year one. So far there is a lot more of fleshing out of characters and their relationships, but this will also be more plot driven than the first, which I think more or less just set the stage. I'm pretty busy with life stuff lately, but I might drop a few one-shots here and there to keep things interesting. If I do, they will be little 'missed scenes' from first year, and possibly the years prior to Hogwarts. Who knows, I might do something from the perspective of the other Marauders (because let's face it: Sirius can be nearly as oblivious as Harry sometimes). Thanks for reading! 7/12/17 - Yes, hello, I am still alive and year one is finally up!! Please read and review, it makes me very happy. 5/5/17 - Hello all you crazy readers out there. I have not forgotten my promise, and in fact I have completed eight chapters of my year one story. Now that school is out, I should have more time in the evenings after work to get writing done. Don't give up on me! 2/4/17 - In case anyone is wondering, I am indeed working on year one. I am on the third chapter, but I don't like to post chapter by chapter because sometimes details change as the story progresses. As a result, you may not see anything until I am almost done with year one. Sorry, I know that means waiting quite a while, but I swear it will be worth it! 12/31/16 - As an adult I am continuing to write Sirius-based fan fiction. Once I think of a title that isn't terrible, I'll be uploading a story about his childhood pre-Hogwarts. I have no time frame in mind, but eventually this will become a series of his life through the Hogwarts years. Thanks for reading! |
