I’m 25 years old (much to my displeasure) and I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English. I love to write, but I love to read even more, which has led to me spending more time on here reading others’ work than contributing my own.

I now have less time to write than I did before, however, because I have just re-entered school, this time to get a degree in graphic design (hopefully).

I have found, thanks to fan fiction and my own personality quirk, that I often suddenly fall madly in love with some random character in a show or book I like and then subsequently become obsessed with reading all fan fiction and actual published fiction or watching all television episodes about that character.

For instance, I have recently developed a liking for Evan Lorne, a character from Stargate: Atlantis. Years ago, I decided during one summer hiatus that Greg Sanders, from my then favorite show CSI was the coolest guy – real or fictional – ever to breathe life. Even to this day I’ve determined that he can do no wrong.

I digress.

As far as Fanfiction.net is concerned, the following are the shows/books/ships that I dedicate my time to right now:

Stargate Atlantis: Jennifer Keller/Ronon Dex, Evan Lorne/anybody (preferably Laura Cadman), occasionally Jennifer Keller/John Sheppard

(I just really like Jennifer, probably because we share the same first name and I don’t think the name Jennifer gets enough screen/reading time)

CSI NY: Lindsay Monroe/Danny Messer, Jessica/Jennifer Angell/Don Flack, the occasional Lindsay Monroe/Don Flack

Harry Potter: Ron Weasley/Hermione Granger

CSI: This is the section that got me started on fan fiction. I don’t spend too much time there now, but my favorites involved Sara Sidle paired up with Warrick, Greg, or sometimes Nick

Stargate SG-1: Cameron Mitchell/Carolyn Lam, sometimes Daniel Jackson/Vala Mal Doran
