First, I want to explain my pen name. Last summer I traveled to Russia and lived with my host family for about a month; during that time, I fell in love with the Russian language, rich history, and culture. And the country is absolutely breath-taking. If anyone is considering traveling to Europe in the future, I highly recommend Russia. It's beautiful.

Well, since you went through all the trouble in coming here, I suppose I should talk about myself, right? Grr. Alright then.

Favorite movies - I'm pretty obsessive about movies, but for the reader's sake I will keep it fairly short...hopefully. : X-men, Harry Potter, the original Star Wars, Pirates of the Carribean, Miracle, Remember the Titans, Dumb and Dumber, This is Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind, Best in Show (so basically anything by Christopher Guest), Elf, Crash, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Godfather, Titantic (I know, I know...), The Wedding Crashers, Waiting, and virtually every single Disney movie. Phew, that was a lot.

Music: I'm into pretty much everything, but my real passion is music from the 60s and 70s. My favorite groups/people from around that time are Queen, The Rolling Stones, John Fogerty, The Grass Roots, The Beatles, The Guess Who, Cat Stevens, The Who, The Eagles, Elton John, and Bob Dylan.

Manga: The only one I have ever read is Fruits Basket, and I love it so much. I just get so excited even talking about it! (hugs books to heart) Of all the wonderful things about it, I'd have to say the characters are what I love the most. Shigure has always been my favorite because his personality is much more complex than just the perverted, stupid guy some people make him out to be. I also love Hatori, Momiji, and Megumi (just cause he's creepy and adorable at the same time!). And Tohru is my idol. She's so selfless and always sees the good in everyone. I really admire that.

Hobbies: Mainly reading and writing, singing, dancing, traveling, watching sports (yay hockey and Notre Dame football!), teasing my friends, spoiling my dog, procrastinating on homework, and of course, reading all the wonderful stories you all have written!

Other fandom fetishes of mine: My Little Ponies, stickers, prancing around my house when I'm alone (O_o), HGTV, candle snuffers, oreos, vintage jewelry, the TV show The Office (which is one of the best things that's ever happened to me), and European accents (preferably Russian and British). Okay...there's probably a lot more, but that's all I could think of at the moment. And no, I'm not strange. Just dorky. I really do like to prance... O_o

One last thing. I'm a sucker for quotes. I just can't get enough of them. I'll list some of my favorites, but I'm always looking for new ones.
