![]() Author has written 2 stories for Golden Sun, and Misc. Comics. So your weary wanderings have finally led you here. Well if you really must know more about me I suppose I can find it in my heart to appease you. Name: Dragon Adept (Although I hoped you would've figured that out by now...) Home: New York (The state.) It's that vast, barren wasteland in between NYC and Niagara Falls. This void of emptiness is what I call my eternal home, I occasionally surface to retrieve more chips though. Gender: Male (No snappy comments, just not in a creative mood I guess...) Age: 20, but I am not bound by society's bland, two dimensional measure of my maturity. Occupation: Navy nuclear electronics technician Contacting me: Email me at grideus@. Possibly my MSN messenger, kethorat@ too. Otherwise I am notoriously difficult to contact. About me: I'm a very generic person really. There's nothing interesting I can tell you about my life. Just relish in your own. Why I'm here: Oh why is anyone anywhere really? OK, I guess I could be a little more helpful than that. I'm here because... well I guess you could say I was inspired. I've had this idea for a Golden Sun Fanfic, and my use of the Golden Sun Syndicate forums brought me here. Eventually that story got so out of control I couldn't sleep. So I wrote it down. You now know it as "The Fate of a Trapped Soul." Bringing it to you was just something I thought I'd do to see if my work was really any good. I have no plans other than Fate. Currently Playing: Adventure Quest: () An awesome RPG that you must check out if you've ever liked any RPG ever. Golden Sun:Wicked-awesome game for GBA. It's what inspired my fanfic. If you haven't played it, play it. Or even just buy it so that Camelot Software will think it's popular enough to make a GS3. I've beaten the game numerous times many years ago, but I still play. I just can't beat hard-mode Dullahan! Update: Pounded him into the dirt with Iris. (Don't ask how I did that.) Runescape: () Only playable if you're willing to put in some serious screen-time. Not real pretty, but it's good exercise for the imagination. Not technically "currently playing" anymore since I got banned, but you get the idea. Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones: Poor cutscenes, but it's one of the most challenging games I've ever played. There's no "Phoenix down" or "KO'd" units. If they die, they die. Corrupted save file on this one. That's what I get for buying used! Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: Sleep through the story. It wasn't terribly exciting, (The main character is a total wuss.) but the battle system was dazzling! Awesome original races too! I had gotten so sick of "Human, elf or dwarf?" Final Fantasy III (DS): Classic FF in every way, but with touch screen and shiny 3D effects! Pokemon Diamond: Nostalgiaville, pop: You. Cool WiFi stuff, a bit finicky technical-wise, but fun. Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Wow, just... wow. If you have a crappy computer like mine and want to have your socks blown off by the most awesomest game ever with no subscription fees, buy this one. If you have tons of money, obscene amounts of free time, an alienware desktop tower that looks like the monolith from 2001 A Space Odyssey and no life or desire for human contact, stick with Warcraft. Final Fantasy Revenant Wings DS: Tough to catch up on the story since i haven't played FFXII, but I'll make it. Nice intuitive freestyle battle system with fancy features and a very engaging interface that successfully takes full advantage of the touchscreen. Puzzle Quest: Crack mixed with bejewled mixed with crack mixed with Final Fantasy. Mixed with more crack. Now with crack! The World Ends With You: Gets over 9000 originality points I'll tell you that. Different stylus motions for attacks have officially brought button mashing to the touch screen. I have seen the future of twitchy attack spamming, and it is good. Random Quotes- Just because I can. (And because, by continuing to read this, you have given my temporary control over your mind.) "You see, the tragedy of Canada is, they could have had British Culture, American Technology and French Cooking. Instead they got American Culture, British Cooking and French Technology." -Unknown net person. No offence to the nations mentioned, but I just thought it was a rather funny, clever joke. “It is capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Invariably one begins to twist facts to suit theories instead of theories to suit facts.” –Sherlock Holmes “A true scientist is bored by knowledge; it is the assault on ignorance that motivates him.” – Matt Ridley. “But long ago he had decided never to be afraid of the deafeningly obvious, it is always new to somebody.” – K.J. Kavanogh “Don’t cry because life’s over, smile because it happened.” -Master of Reality. (A fellow author. His GS novelization was the first thing I read when I came here. Check it out! He's got some good stuff.) "Don't hate school. It prepares you for real life... Which also sucks." -Bunny sticker. (Don't ask.) "I can't be in two places at the same time, but I can be in the same place at two different times." -Fighter (From 8-bit DnD) |
