The universe is a better place for having Star Trek, Mister Rogers, and Bob Ross.

I am a fan of all Star Trek, but TOS holds a place near and dear in my heart. These characters, in afternoon reruns throughout my teenage years, taught me empathy, hope, and kindness—an education that was sorely lacking in my real life. I hope those lessons learned shine through in my writing.
