Hello! I am nearing the completion of 'The Unbroken Threads'. It probably has another 20K of words before it's done. Maybe more, depending on how quickly I can wrap up the ending. And before anyone asks, there will be an epilogue. How could I not do the 19 years later? Beyond that, I am working on a plot for a Psychological Thriller. I put aside my Middle Grade fantasy as I was too worried it would have a similar voice to my Harry Potter fanfic. This story, however, it very different, and very dark. While I kept my HP fanfics a MG to YA rating, my thriller will be adult, with adult language, situations, heavy amounts of violence, and terror. Sounds fun, right? Anyways, once I get to a good spot with a first draft, I will have my husband look it over, fix it up, and have it open to beta readers. This process could take several months to a year. If anyone would like to volunteer for Beta Reading at that time, please keep your eyes on my profile for updates. I will open the process on all my social media once it's ready, and I will pick up to 30 Beta Readers for my novel.

Thank you everyone who stuck around years reading my Harry Potter fanfics! I hope you will enjoy what I have in store for the ending as much as I had thinking it up.

Hello everyone. I know it's been awhile, but a lot has changed in these last two months. Just really quick, the room I write in has been torn apart as it was a storage area as well. There is now a person who is living in that room, so I don't have my writing spot anymore. I'm trying to work out a couple new places, but each start to the next chapter to The Unbroken Threads seem like it's treading water instead of going somewhere. I am working on it, it's just a slow going now. I have the rest of the story mapped out, and hopefully this story will be completed within the next two months. Then, I will be working on my own original novel again.

Thank you for sticking around during the break. I've seen the new alerts, favorites, and views. All of you are amazing and I can't thank you enough.

I will be part of Camp NaNoWritMo this year. Because I am participating, I will have to put down 'The Unbroken Threads' for the month of April. I will make sure I leave the story off in a good spot during the wait, as I think the story will be another 8-10 chapters long, unless I find a way to realistically tie the plots together tighter. Harry still has quite a way to do to defeat Voldemort, and Riddle has finally reached the mid point in his journey. If the story is not complete before I start Nano, I will come back to it after April, and complete it prior to finishing my original.

If you have any questions on the story, or would like to be a Beta reader for my original, please contact me at any of the contact options above. Make sure you are telling me you want to be a Beta Reader for the Original, otherwise, I will assume The Unbroken Threads.

Thank you and wish me luck.

So, I may or may not have rediscovered my love of caffeine. I wrote for almost 12 hours straight to produce the 15th chapter of 'The Unbroken Threads'. I spent my breaks at work revising it, and correcting simple mistakes. I have also learned how amazing my local library is, and now have a pile of books to read within 2 weeks before I have to bring them back. The next chapter may take a bit, but it will be worth the wait. The story is going to really pick up speed. I've also finished my rough outline for my original novel! It is shaping up to be quite fun. I will say if you enjoy The Deceptive Waltz and The Unbroken Threads, you will enjoy my original work as well, since it focuses on the relationship between a Grandfather and his grandson, along with amazing strong female family members, and magical creatures. More to come on that soon!

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update. This chapter is about half way done, but it's shaping up nicely. I had to take a few days off due to a funeral, which I had to travel out of state for, and have been completely wiped since. I do not handle travel very well. I wrote 3K words yesterday (it's 1:50am right now), and I am hoping to finish this chapter after I sleep. Hopefully it will live up to the hype!

February 20, 2017

I'm half way to the next chapter as of 2pm est. This is quite an exciting one, so I am taking a little more time to get it right. You will know why when it is completed. In other news, I'm about 40% through my rough outline for my original novel. I can only tell you a few things about it, since until I start writing, I am liable to change a lot of it.

1) It's going to be Middle Grade

2) It will have magic

3) The story focuses around a boy and his grandfather, their relationship, and adventure

Everything else is up in the air about it, like most of my work. I'm excited to get to work on something original, and hopefully one day be published. Thank you everyone who has supported my work. It means a lot to me!

January 26, 2017

Hello everyone. I'm still working on the next chapter to 'The Unbroken Threads'. I have slowed down on updates because I am writing my own original novel, which has taken up quite a bit of time. Between that and being sick, as well as the general state of the USA, it's been tough. I already have the story planned out, so no worries. It will get finished, just a little slower while I work on my original. Thank you all for understanding!

January 15, 2017

Hello! I'm currently working on chapter ten at the moment. I took a break to let you all know that I am continuing to work on the story. I already have the rest of the story outlined, and it looks like it will be around 24 chapters long, so we have a ways to go! I am still looking for Beta Readers to assist with correcting errors, as I am horrible about checking my own work. If you would like to offer your services, please send me a note. I'll be working out of Google Docs, so no need to worry about having your own editing software. Thank you!

January 4, 2017

Hello everyone. I would usually update with a chapter today, but I am holding off. Chapter 8 needs some work, just to correct minor errors, and chapter 9 is only half way finished. I shall resume posting on my normal schedule this Saturday, so don't panic. Thank you all for understanding!

December 25, 2016

Happy Holidays everyone. I'll be working on The Unbroken Threads tomorrow for my Wednesday publishing date. I think I may take a bit of a break from publishing the chapters just to get caught back up. Prior to the last chapter, I had a buffer. Due to the difficultly I found in the last chapter, I no longer have that buffer, which stressed me out while writing, making it harder to get the chapter in. I will complete the story, so do not fear!

I am also working on my own original story. The outline is being completed, and a publisher is interested in the book. We'll see where that leads! When I finish The Unbroken Threads, I'll start writing my original story. When that gets at least three good chapters complete, I'll be looking for Beta Readers for that series.

December 6, 2016

The first chapter to the next part of 'The Deceptive Waltz' is complete. I'll be posting it when I get a few more completed chapters under my belt. I tend to post as soon as I am completed, which leads to a lot of updates being devoted to just fixing minor errors. My biggest hang up tends to be trying to name this new story. It was a problem for the first part as well. It happens. Also, I am still looking for Beta Readers. I tend to write very quickly and overwhelm most Betas very quickly. Having two or more would be great, as it would allow me to divide the work. If you're interested, please send me a PM. Thank you!

November 27, 2016

The Deceptive Waltz is now completed! It concludes Harry's Fifth Year at Hogwarts, and the start of a whole new adventure as I can finally break away from canon by a lot without harming the integrity I have been holding onto. I want to update a few more things in 'Woes of Riddle' before I start the first chapter to the next Series. Please leave reviews or PM me any criticisms for the story. Moving forward, I would like to really kick it off, so please tell me what you did and did not like about the first series. This will allow me to make sure the second is the best I can possibly make it. Thank you everyone for reading, and enjoying my work.

I forget how much I actually enjoy reading Harry Potter. As a Teenager, I actually disliked 'Order of the Phoenix' quite a bit. As an adult, I actually really enjoy the book. I think what I was missing as a teen was, Harry is suffering from PTSD. It's horribly obvious to me now that I am going back through it, and I can relate a lot more to how he is feeling. Not that I have PTSD, but I have enough friends who suffer from it. Even though I am only reading sections of the book to keep my story in line with the plot (so far), I feel as though I need to reread the whole book. I also am remembering how much I despise Umbridge. She really is an awful person. I remember when I first read the book that I wanted Voldemort to just murder her. Nothing but jail time happened to her, right? Or am I not remembering that correctly?

Anyways, I hope all of you enjoy the newer chapters. I am also revising the older chapters slowly and cross posting them to AO3. If you, like me, prefer to download fanfics onto your device I would recommend going there. It will allow you to download the fic into a couple of different formats.

So, I am not going to lie. I forgot I even had an account on Fanfiction.net. It had been so long it slipped my mind. I stumbled back in because I received a strange amount of emails from here saying people had favorited my story 'The Deceptive Waltz'. I quickly came back to remember exactly what that story was, and was renewed with vigor. Unfortunately for me, I did not have any notes or in progress documents for the rest of the story. The good part was, I at least had alot of fanart I draw for it which were for later parts of the story. This made me go "Ok, so how does this story go from where it is, to this point?" then write from there. Hopefully the current chapter flows, as I haven't written a single thing in years. Any criticism is welcomed with open arms. I understand I am not the best writer or even above average. I hope what I can provide is at least entertaining.

I will endeavor to finish at least 'The Deceptive Waltz' as this story seems to be the favorite. If I ever do write for a fandom again, I promise to finish writing it, and then update it in installments. That way, I won't leave another huge cliff hanger for 8 years.
