![]() Author has written 14 stories for Harry Potter. Hufflepuff, Marauder, demigod, tribute, book thief, Avenger, Heather, hunter, phan, writer, nerd, and overall, a fangirl. Not necessarily in that order, but you know what I mean. Special thanks to Josh Voices Swayla Audio Fics (formerly Phoenix Arisen Again), who gave me some good ideas for the Marauders and Umbridge. Thanks also goes to grammarosprey, who has given me a lot of helpful feedback on The Third Year, as well as some of my other work. I want to throw a shoutout to Ermengarde de Neustrie, who’s written a beautiful piece of work centered around a detention Remus endured during MaU. If anyone wants to read it, (which I highly recommend,) the link to their profile is here. Thank you also to the people who review. I don’t usually reply to you, but it does mean a lot to me that you’ve taken the time to give me feedback. It's almost the new school year, which means that I'll be more active again. Once I get back, Constant Vigilance will be off hiatus as I'll have solid time to work on it. I’ve finally had time to work on CV now that I’m back in school. Updates will probably still be slow because our first writing project is dystopian, and that’ll take time for me to write. Haven’t updated in a while partially because I’m having writers block and I have to dedicate all my time to write to that project, but I promise I’m not abandoning CV. Dystopian is over! I’ve been working on a multi-shot lately (Sod the Consequences, but it might be renamed) because it’s been hard to get in a rhythm with CV. So, StC isn’t really a multi-shot anymore... I’m alternating writing that and CV, neither are being abandoned, I promise. If updates are slow on one, then I’m working on the other. Took a break from writing to deal with some real life stuff, but I’m back to CV and StC now. Hope you all are corona free while reading this. I’m sorry that updates have been so slow lately. You’d think that being home all day would mean that I have loads of time to write, but I’m working eight or so hours a day on school work plus I have other virtual activities. I’m lucky to get 20 words down on any given day. Hopefully as the school year draws to a close, I’ll be able to spend more time on my writing. He is my first story that goes farther than vague undertones in terms of wolfstar. I’ve never tried writing anything like this, nor have I been in this situation. I may add onto it in the future or rewrite it, or take it down. This is (like almost everything else on this account) a first draft, so please don’t hate on it too much. Wasn’t sure if I wanted to post it or not, but it’s here, and since I do want to try more pieces in this style, constructive feedback would be preferred to flames. I haven’t updated in ages since I can’t get any momentum, in CV, StC, or the handful of one shots that I’ve started. Bad excuse, I know, but I’m not planning on giving up on any of my in progress stuff. It’s just on a hiatus. Since my Harry Potter fics aren’t working, I’m trying to dabble in another fandom. Not sure if I’ll post it or not, but I just wanted to throw out an update and apology for the lack of updates. So I think I’m going to post the story I’m working on. It’s spn, a fandom I’ve never written in before, and pure destiel, which again, being romance, is not my area of expertise. I don’t read or write a lot of stuff in that genre, nor do I have much personal experience to go on. I’m not sure when the story will be up, though, since it still needs a name. I’m a few chapters in, so the name should present itself soon. Hopefully I’ll have at least the first chapter up within a week. Disclaimer: Please note that a good fraction of any of my stories are inspired by other sorces. Odds are, if something looks familiar, I saw it somewhere on Pintrest. (Or someone copied me, but let’s be honest, what are the odds of that?) Also, I don’t own Harry Potter. |
