Author has written 12 stories for Once Upon a Time. As a writer: I have been writing for well over half my life. Words have gotten me through a rough childhood, heartbreak, and loss. Words have brought me my family of choice, my dream career, and the discovery of who I am. I really enjoy constructive feedback and thoughts from others on my stories as it helps me improve my craft and understand other perspectives. FanFiction.net is a place for me to try out ideas, get to know other writers, and simply play with words in a safe space. As a person: I often find myself connecting to some of my favorite characters whose journey involves finding home (Emma, Callie, Rachel). I identify strongly with Regina's need for control over her destiny and her determination to protect the ones she loves. Emma's clumsy awkwardness is easily relate-able, as I often find my own foot in my mouth. I have spent a good part of my life searching for the meaning of love and what it is like to be loved in return, especially by a maternal figure. That's a strong theme in most of my writing, along with exploring different sides of love, sacrifice, and growth of the soul. Fun facts (if you are still reading): The Lonely Geek created an adorable visual rendition of The Do Over series - link below: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5PeqqGgeuGs I have seen every episode of Once at least 5 times There are undertones of power exchange in my writing that are tied directly to my life experiences. SwanQueen, in multiple ways, is my favorite pairing I have two dogs, a cat, and a fish named Jasper (who made his debut in the series The Do Over) Fandoms I adore: Once Upon a Time The Fosters Glee Thank you for reading! |
