Author has written 12 stories for Without a Trace, and Magnificent Seven. December 3rd 2007 My WaT muse is still going crazy (even while I'm sad at the show) so I'm currently writing two multi-part stories, one that is a rewrite of S4 and Martin's addiction and PTSD that I don't think were done very well, so in my fanfic I get to 'fix' it. S4 rewrite (still untitled but have got some ideas from some pals) will be awhile, probably the new year. Medley is humming along, probably has three more chapters (thinking a total of 15) Once that's done I'll concentrate a lot on S4 as well as a possible sequel to The Unsub, I've got some ideas clanking around in my head and they've been in there jumping and bouncing and colliding for a few months now and more things keep jumping in so I'm thinking that's a sign that it's gonna come together. My At Rest one-shot is still hanging around, I think once I finish Medley I'll clean that up and post it. Again, it's what I would have preferred and hopefully you'll like it as well. Since the show bums me out and I just go now to get my EC fix -- and EM fix as well, I just imagine that what I've written in At Rest is how things are in the Sam Spade realm 'cause anything else is just icky, oh, and don't worry. I never intend to make her pregnant again, Medley is just my way of dealing with the destruction of my favorite duo and without it, I just couldn't go on [ all right, is that melodramatic enough for you -- insert rolling eyes here -- All MAG 7 goodies (well, almost all) go to blackraptor, just look for Laurel and you'll find what I've written alone or what Silvia and I have done together. I just sent them Connections so they'll add it in as they're able. Other than that work is busy and I'm enjoying writing and reading. Thanks for all the supportive feedback and encouragement, I like reading so much that other write, I'm glad to be able to put some pieces out there for others to check out and hopefully enjoy. Take care. Laurel PS. As I update this and get ready for my least fave time of the year [I'm no scrooge but I dislike the holidays, too many painful memories my own lion and lamb are curled up together on the comforters that are piled on the floor for their comfort whilst the first 'snowstorm/winterstorm' of the season blows through NYS. My 13 pound kitty and 77 pound german shepherd dog are curled together snoozing. It's delightful. |
