The following is a novelization treatment for an alternative series of episodes that could have been the first season of the CBS All Access Show Star Trek: Picard. While the actual show had good intentions, it significantly struggled in executing them. This proposed alternative season is intended to have the same variables as the show itself.

While waiting to face the tribunal looking into the loss of the Enterprise-D, Data and Geordi spend a few days visiting Geordi's sister and her family. But, when death strikes her quiet town, the investigation may turn up more than even Holmes could handle.

The story takes place after the events of "Generations". Picard is given the opportunity to participate in an excavation for a sacred chalice. When he goes missing his crew tries everything to find him and reveal the secret about the chalice. Since English isn't my first language, I apologize if the grammar is a bit stilted at times.

At the Academy, Riker used the journals of a historical figure to keep him focused on his studies. This 'long distance girlfriend' was real enough to fool his classmates and even himself, sometimes. When Q brings her to the ship through an obsession of his own, Will knows he should stay away. She seems to hate him, anyway... Riker/OC. Slow burn, enemies to lovers, romance, humor.

I'd daydreamed of living on the Enterprise-D. Of course I had, I'd thought in depth about how to approach various issues, how to go about normal life. But never had I actually thought I'd ever actually be there. And never had I thought about the problems that would arise from my presence. But I was there and had to figure out a way to continue living my life, one way or another.
