A 1997 Classic Moments Story. Original Description: For one brief moment in time, their world was perfect. But like all perfect moments - it passed too quickly and reality came crashing down. Someone out there is stalking Rita and our favorite duo has to resort to desperate measures to find out who it is, and exactly what they want.

Three weeks into their new relationship, Chris and Rita are at the loft reminiscing about past undercover assignments when they are called to a crime scene at the Busby Estate. Crime, romance, and a little intrigue.

A collection of Silk Stalkings stories I have written so far. For now, it's just one story, but I should come up with more later.

Commitment is everything... A good ol' fashioned Silk Stalking! The death of a wealthy wife, who recently had an affair, prompts an investigation from Palm Beach's finest. Follows the timeline established in "The Three Faces of Fate" and "Closing the Books," so the setting is late 4th Season with The Sams together.

This story takes place shortly after Chris and Rita's first night together. The emotion, the worries, the risk. A bit of romantic fluff.

An old foe from Harry's past involves Chris and Rita in his plot for revenge. Romance. Crime. Action. [Chris remained in the shadows; his eyes trained on the side door of the garage as it opened just wide enough to allow a slender figure to slip inside. He blinked twice, not quite sure whether to believe what he was seeing. "Sam." A split second later she was in his arms.]

(12/26/19 UPDATED Final scene needed work) A brand new story written in 2019 based on a challenge from D of the DA's Office. The challenge: A pre-relationship one-shot story about Chris and Rita at a masquerade party. To make it more interesting (difficult!) she wanted them to be clueless about each other's identity. Set in Season 3 - Halloween 1993. This is not a Classic Moment.

A dead body in the restroom of the PB bus depot interrupts a quiet weekend off, and puts Chris and Rita on a collision course with the DEA. Crime/Romance/Angst and a bit of mature content, too. It's what I do. (Two additional new stories posted in Silk/XF crossover archive.)

A legend of the Palm Beach PD is set to retire. Rita enlists Chris' help as she prepares to reunite with the officer she hasn't seen in twenty-four years, but who came to her rescue during events that changed her life forever. A pre-relationship short story, set 3rd Season.

A special New Year's Eve party with an unexpected cast of characters and a romantic surprise. In the Classic Moments timeline, this falls after Party Favors and before Shadows of Remembrance. Some adult content.

How will Rita deal with Chris's first infidelity since their marriage?

Rita gets roped into babysitting Rikki's son, only to have Chris show up at Rikki's for a date

An upcoming birthday and a difficult case leave Rita in a strange mood and Chris very worried. Crime! Romance! Angst! And hopefully a little laughter too. Chris and Rita are already engaged in this story. Mild adult content.

A companion piece to "Exactly What I Needed". In fact, it's the exact same story - just told from Chris' perspective. This piece can be read on its own, but might have more depth if read in conjunction with Rita's side. I think it's interesting to place them side-by-side on the screen and read them together. A big thank-you to resauthor for the challenge.

This story imagines what might have happened between Rita bolting from Harry's office and reuniting with Chris in his apartment during "Glory Days" season 5.

Chris and Rita are invited to a party at the Lipschitz residence unaware of Harry's matchmaking scheme for Rita and his godson. Frannie and friends try to run interference.

At the end of "Mrs. Carlisle" (S04E15), Harry speaks with Rita and confirms that Eric Russell, her boyfriend and a former cop, was not guilty of any wrong-doing during his time in New York City. The episode concludes with Rita going to Eric's apartment and finding it empty. This short piece is my idea of what could have happened after the credits rolled.

An alternate version of The Last Kiss Goodnight. This story is guaranteed safe for anyone who inhabits the land of denial. Chris and Rita will ALWAYS be together and in love in my stories.

A continuation of Passages in Love. Rita tries to ignore the blossoming romance between herself and her partner, but Chris has come to a decision and will not be deterred.

Rita anxiously awaits Chris' return from Boston unsure of how his visit with Jillian will affect their lives, both personally and professionally. Canon and the show runner's story bible have been thrown out the window. This story takes a few plot points and facts from the episode Partners: Part 1 and throws them in a blender. Dare I even say it? Very mild sexual content.

Sometimes the heart wanders in fantasy - and sometimes the star of that fantasy is the best friend and partner whose trust you would never violate. This story picks up at the end of "Kill Shot." As always (it seems) mild sexual situations and content. P.S. I love Interrogation Room 3 (IR3) with the heat of a thousand suns.
